Staff was friendly and offered clean linens daily. Room was clean. Gourmet coffee machine was neat. Continental breakfast offered a large selection but just know there are no protein options. Parking is offered underground but spaces are very tight, especially for trucks and SUVs.

Perfect for Wedding weekend

Tired! The property and myself

I did not expect a 5 star resort, but I expected to be able to sleep. The girl at the front desk was very nice & our check in went smoothly. She kept saying our room (100) was the best as you could see the lighthouse across the street. I was a little suspicious about the comment as the room is on the first floor, right near the front desk. I asked her, “are you sure this is a good room?” she replied, yes. If you peak through the trees you can see a bit of the lighthouse, but I wouldn’t call it a view. Room 100 is right by reception, so you can hear the conversations. We had to go out at 10:45pm & ask them to please keep it down as we were sleeping. Then 10 mins later a gentleman came knocking on our door to apologize. Keep in my mind we are trying to sleep & had to answer the door. Then another group was there at 11:45pm & again had to ask them to keep it down. On top of that you could hear the footsteps of the room above. So there was little sleep to be had. I mentioned to the front desk in the morning that the room was not a good room. There was a gentleman by the desk in a SSI shirt and he said “is it because of the noise?” I hadn’t mentioned the noise yet, so it confirmed my suspicions that they know this is a crappy room. The room and Inn are a bit tired as well. Paint chipping, pieces of floor trim missing, etc. But if you want paint, it is stored under the sink. I found that searching for the blow dryer that didn’t exist. Bathroom is also way too small.

Visit to St. Simons Island

We were greeted with a super friendly staff that was very informative. Our room was fantastic, clean and had everything we needed. Parking was located under the hotel and was perfect. The location of this hotel is as good as it gets because we were able to walk to everything. We will definitely stay here every time we come to St. Simons Island !!!

Quaint but Modern

This quaint little inn across from the lighthouse at Saint Simons Island was lovely. The room was clean, and the accommodations were comfortable. The parking was limited, but the staff was super helpful in dealing with that issue. I would have liked a more balanced selection for breakfast but will recommend this location to friends and family.

i was charged 3 times to my credit card, of course my bank puts a hold. to check with me. man said it was declined at desk. how embarrassing. he kept doing it wrong, i called my bank and they said no problem on my end. it was the motel he told me it showed a sec code, my bank did not know what he was talking about. and if it showed something why would you keep charging me $294.16, $294.16 $147.08 ? had to use my debit there which i do not like to use away from home. it’s funny i used the very credit card all around that town for rest of trip. and the stay was only suppose to cost one charge of $294.16.
