Großstadt-Feeling

Ein Wochenende in der Großstadt. Für uns Landeier, ehrlich gesagt, ein Kulturschock. Bei der Wohnung habdelt es sich nicht um eine Ferienwohnung im klassischen Sinne, sondern um ein AirB&B. Wer Brüssel sehen möchte und mit eigenem Pkw anreist, sollte wissen, dass die Parkgebühr pro Tag bis zu 25 Euro kosten kann. Parkplätze vor dem Gebäude der Wohnung sind sehr rar. Die Fahrstühle sind sehr klein und eng und fahren vom EG nicht direkt ins richtige Stockwerk. Man wählt entweder eins darunter oder ein darüber und geht dann doch die Treppe. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und höflich. Die Wohnung ist sauber und besticht durch einen afrikanischen Einrichtungsflair. Vor dem Schlafzimmern hört man leider dauerhaft Züge ein- und ausfahren. Das Gebäude besticht weiterhin durch eine blaue Plane vor den Balkonen, da diese wegen Renovierungen abgedeckt wurden. Ein Betreten ist dementsprechend auch nicht möglich. Abends hat man jedoch einen schönen Ausblick auf ein Kirchengebäude. Im Nahbereich ist die Straßenbahn und mehrere Supermärkte. Es war eine neue Erfahrung, aber für uns wird es bei der nächsten Auslandsreise doch lieber wieder eine Ferienwohnung auf dem Land.
