Walking distance to downtown Bryson City's shops, dining and craft breweries with live music. Great Smoky Mountains Railroad is also minutes away. Easy and quick 10 minute drive for fishing, tubing and hiking at Deep Creek.

Welcome to the Bryson Fold & Walnut Hill Cabin - a gorgeous, updated, historic stone home and a historic studio cabin overlooking Downtown Bryson City & The Great Smoky Mountains. Walking distance to Dining, Shops and the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad. 5 bedrooms in the main home, all with ensuite bathrooms for privacy. 2 Gathering Spaces, 2 Full Kitchens. Vast outdoor space includes a fire table and a firepit, Hot Tub, Games, and Outdoor Dining for 16. Walking Path to Downtown.

Guests will have access to both floors of the entire home, the driveway for up to 6 vehicles; the walking path to town, the entire back patio (both levels) and the green space below the rental cabin on property as well as the historic cabin.

Upon arrival, guests can access the property through the Schlage keypads on the front door of each property. When booking your stay, please enter the correct number of guests that will be staying on the property. Maximum occupancy at the main home is 14 guests, including children (Two of the beds are bunks and there is also a pullout sofa on the lower level). Maximum occupancy at Walnut Hill Cabin is 2 guests, for a total of 16 guests. The cabin is a short walk from the house.

Hosts are just a call, text or email away for any needs during your stay. We have local staff who can tend to emergencies. Please allow extra time during weekends and holidays.

The cabin is set at a distance from the main home, affording privacy to those in the cabin.

***ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES OR EVENTS. Maximum Occupancy for the main home is 14 guests, including children. There is one pack and play onsite as well for an infant or toddler not included in the guest count. Maximum Occupancy for the smaller cabin is 2 guests. This policy is strictly enforced. If you would like to bring extra guests, please contact us in advance.

I booked this home in Bryson City for a team sales meeting, and it ended up being one of the best rental experiences I’ve had. Everyone on my team commented on how comfortable the beds were and how thoughtfully stocked the house was—from utensils and cookware to the impressive coffee and tea setup. The hosts were also incredibly responsive to any questions or needs we had, which made the stay even smoother.The location couldn’t have been better. We walked to downtown each evening using a convenient path with stairs that leads directly from the house. It made getting around easy and added to the charm of the stay.Outside, the property features a beautiful patio, hot tub, multiple fire pits, and a grill. The setup is perfect for relaxing or gathering as a group. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate for us to enjoy it as much as we hoped, but it’s clear that in good weather this space would be a highlight.I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a superb stay in the Bryson City area. It’s comfortable, well-appointed, perfectly located, and supported by excellent hosts.

Our stay was amazing! Our visit was over Thanksgiving and cooked for 10 people. Access to 3 kitchens made preparations a breeze. Walking distance to town and the Polar Express was so convenient.
