We had a wonderful trip. The hot tub was large and good for the cooler weather. Itâs in a great location with river access. There were lots of board games available to play. The kitchen was well stocked with all the things we needed.
We loved our stay at River Haven. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals. We found some great hiking trails in the area and enjoyed soaking it the hot tub at night after a day of hiking. The deck was quite big with comfy chairs to sit in and a nice Weber grill. I could spend all day sitting in the Adirondack chairs right by the river. We didnât really notice any traffic noise. We did enjoy the sound of the river flowing and the birds. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Natalie was very kind and quick to respond to any questions we had. We look forward to staying here again.
The property is great and very well furnished. It was clean, spacious, everything was in working order and it had everything we needed. The check in/out process was clear and easy. The host was top notch. The hot tub, beautiful porch, yard and river access were so awesome! Couldnât ask for more!!
We absolutely loved our stay at River Haven! The hot tub overlooking the river was hands down our favorite part â soaking while listening to the water flow by was the perfect way to end each day.The location is ideal: close to restaurants, trail systems, and everything Buena Vista has to offer, yet still quiet and peaceful. It truly feels like a private riverfront retreat. The house itself was nice, clean, and very comfortable â a great setup for relaxing after long days outside. We would highly recommend River Haven to anyone looking for the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. Natalie was a great host!
The property has beautiful views and Iâd consider coming back in the summer to take advantage of the outdoor space. The property backing up to the river is lovely to look at and the large windows are what drew me to this place. The beds are comfortable and the living room was nice, but much smaller than it looked online. The lighting in there was dim, making it difficult to work on our jigsaw puzzle in the evening.
River Haven was magical! The house and property are beautiful and cozy! The views of the river and mountains were so peaceful. It was incredibly refreshing to sit in the hot tub and watch the river and stars. The kitchen was small, but complete with all the cookware, dinnerware, and seasoning we needed. We had such a special family Christmas at River Haven.
Great property for a getaway. Plenty of comfort, plenty of space, plenty of separation for sleeping or hanging out and such. Walking out 100 feet to stand next to the river is priceless, as is sitting on the porch and taking in the lawn, the fire pit, lawn chairs, and the river and mountains. Did I mention the spa on the deck and ten million stars at night?Kitchen has everything needed, including tools for serious coffee brewing. Everything needed is ten minutes away, but feels a hundred miles away. Great spot, helpful host! Five stars!
