I reserved a Family Friendly appartment in Palermo. This is NOT AN APPARTMENT. It is an old house converted into several units, some of which seem abandoned. This particular property opens into an OPEN COURTYARD connecting the restrooms and the smaller bedrooms (which are located on an open sencond floor accesible via an open stair). The door from the courtyard to the kitchen does not have a key, nor do the bedrooms on the second floor. I can't imagine a family with small children ever staying here. I contacted to realtor to try to arrange other units and was refused. I asked for a refund and was never replied to. This is my first ever bad review in 20 years of using expedia.
