Amazing location! I had no idea how close we were to the castle!
It was the perfect setup for my husband and me, our daughter and her teenage daughter. We could walk around the corner for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We were right behind the castle- literally. It was a great starting point for many day trips. Unfortunately we had a glitch with our credit cards but the lady in charge of reservations was very patient and reassured us that our cottage wouldn’t be canceled while we worked it out. We’d go there again in a heartbeat.

Rental is thru anm
Since this rental was in Ireland, check in rules were not an American norm. International call/text required 24 hrs in advance of check in, then unit # emailed. Upon arrival just hope the door is unlocked because no one is on site to assist, nor could we get an answer to text. Older units, no directions on turning on hot water tank or heat. Short walk to Bunratty castle, but would NOT stay there again. There are nicer rentals nearby.

Charmantes Cottage
Ein charmantes Cottage in direkter Nähe zum Bunratty Castle. Es macht „lustige“ Geräusche (Heizung, Dusche) ist aber sehr geräumig und schön. Ideal für Familien mit Teenagern, da jedes Schlafzimmer ein eigens Bad hat.
Unbedingt das Bunratty Castle & Folk Park besuchen, sehr interessant und überaus freundliches Personal.
