Bursting with character, the cottage boasts incredible exposed beams and original charm, perfectly paired with thoughtfully designed modern interiors. The stunning master suite features a show-stopping gold bath, offering a truly indulgent experience. Downstairs, guests will enjoy a cosy living space and a fully equipped kitchen, ideal for relaxed gatherings. Nestled in the heart of picturesque Burford, College Cottage is a dog friendly holiday home, welcoming up to four dogs, making it the perfect Cotswold escape for all.

Beautiful Cottage Stay

We had such a lovely stay in the Cotswolds with my mum, sister, and niece. The cottage was absolutely beautiful—cosy, well-kept, and full of charm—and the location was perfect for exploring the area. Our host was amazing and incredibly thoughtful, making sure we had everything we needed and adding little touches that made our stay feel extra special. It was a truly relaxing and memorable trip, and we’d happily return!

Fabulous location

College Cottage is very cosy, very well appointed and in a fabulous location just off the high street. Free parking was readily available on the street and close by. Burford is the ideal location as a base to visit the Cotswolds.

A wonderful winter stay

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was perfect for a weekend away at Christmas and we had everything we needed. Neil was a fantastic host, very accommodating and helpful with any requests. We highly recommend staying here and had a fantastic trip. Thank you!

Thoroughly enjoyed a stay here with the other half. The host was very accommodating and always available on the phone if we had any questions. Beautifully decorated and very well equipped, made it a real home from home. Will be sure to book again.

Fantastic find

We stayed at the cottage for a long weekend. A great find. Full of character, beautifully presented and tucked away a few steps from the high street with its cafes and bars so incredibly well positioned. Lots to do and plenty of beautiful pubs and restaurants nearby. The host was available on WhatsApp and answered any questions we had immediately. Loved our stay.

College cottage is a fantastic hideaway in Burford high street, You are greeted with a nice hamper,pint of milk in the fridge. Everything was easy to use. Many bars and restaurants within walking distance. No Negatives.

We had a wonderful stay at The College Cottage in Burford. The service was amazing and communication throughout was excellent, everything we needed was provided and thoughtfully arranged. The location couldn’t be more perfect, right in the heart of Burford yet peaceful and charming. We’d definitely recommend staying here and would love to return in the future!

Nice House

Very nice house in a great location in the middle of Burford High Street. Very clean, well furnished with lots of nice touches. Communication with the owner Neil was excellent. Left nice gifts of flowers, chocolates and well stocked for tea, coffee , biscuits. I can thoroughly Recommend.

Stunning stay

My dad and I stayed hear spontaneously, only booking the day we stayed! Omg the house was fabulous, nipping clean and just a perfect location. We were left treats, fizzy, beautiful toiletries and a brilliant service from Neil who was on hand for all the information! The house its self was so tasteful and so comfortable. I will definitely stay again only next time I need way longer. 100 percent recommend and thank you for everything you done for us stay Cotswolds!

A true Gem!

What an amazing property, perfect location, being right on the main street through the area, immaculately presented, tip top cleanliness, very comfortable beds, we were even left some generous gifts when we arrived. A very sweet gesture indeed. A wonderful array of shops await you outside, along with pleasant walks nearby, afterwards a plethora of places to eat, all serving excellent produce. Luxury cottage in Burford

My husband and I recently stayed at College Cottage with our baby and dog - we couldn’t recommend more! The property is very well maintained and has a very luxury but homely feel to it. The appliances are all top notch (Sage coffee machine, Smeg kettle, Dyson hairdryers) and the welcome hamper was a real surprise and made such a difference when we arrived. I would say that if you bring a dog with you, the courtyard isn’t great for them and you’ll likely need to take them out regularly, but there’s plenty of green space around. There was a travel cot set up for us when we arrived with mattress and sheet, and there’s plenty of space for a baby to sleep in the main room with you. The bath in the main bedroom was a real highlight and the bath products provided to use were really lovely (Cowshed bath salts and a bath soak). There is tea and coffee provided, as well as milk and other goodies in the kitchen. Highly recommend - great location just off the high street, opposite a nice bakery for morning pastries :) thanks Neil for being so helpful and accommodating before and during our stay!

Best cottage in Burford

We absolutely adored our stay at College Cottage ❤️ It was the perfect base for exploring our favourite town, Burford, and we had the most fabulous time. The customer service was exceptional—when we asked for an early check-in after leaving our previous hotel post-wedding, they agreed without hesitation. Upon arrival, we were blown away by the thoughtful welcome gifts: beautiful flowers, whisky, wine, and more! It was such a lovely surprise and made us feel truly celebrated. We felt completely pampered and couldn’t have asked for a better spot. Location is prime, customer service is next to none, and quality of the cottage is amazing. Highly recommend to anyone travelling to Burford! We will be back A&C

Most charming cottage and attention to detail!

From the moment I stepped into College Cottage I was blown away... By the charm of the beautiful building, the tasteful decor throughout, and the surprise of the thoughtful flowers and treats that Neil provided for my stay. I felt absolutely spoilt, I have never experienced such customer attentiveness from a holiday stay before. I travelled from Australia to explore the Cotswolds for a week, and I couldn't have asked for a better place to wake up in and come back to every afternoon. It was warm, cozy, charming, and that bath!!! What a treat! Thank you Neil for everything; my stay at College Cottage truly made my visit to the Cotswolds absolutely magical, I couldn't have asked for a better holiday accommodation. I can't wait to visit again someday, I will definitely be back!

Special escape in the beautiful Cotswolds

College Cottage exceeded our already high expectations from the description on the website. The cottage is dreamy and our escape started as soon as we turned down the medieval alley. We were welcomed with a very kind and generous welcome gifts. Neil thought of everything to ensure we enjoyed our stay and sent us a lovely message to ensure we were all set for a special stay. We immediately opened the wine and put our feet up on the comfy sofas with our hamper. The cottage is exquisitely decorated throughout. There were so many unique touches in keeping with the charm of the Cotswolds. The kitchen had absolutely everything you need to cook. I can imagine returning to the cottage in the winter and cooking cosy dinners. There was also a small courtyard with a BBQ. The real wow factor was the master bedroom with a stunning copper slipper bath. Perfect way to unwind after a busy day with bath bombs and relaxation products also gifted. The attic room was also absolutely charming with beams exposed throughout the cottage. Enjoyed blissful sleep and really was a perfect home to enjoy. Burford is a lovely bustling medieval town with interesting shops, an irresistible patisserie and excellent pubs and restaurants. We can highly recommend the Royal Oak and the Spice Lounge. There are walks from the doorstep and a short distance from the Farmers Dog, Blenheim Palace and Oxford. We chose it as a perfect base to explore the Cotswolds. Finally thank you so much to Neil who also gave us a wonderful gift to remember our stay and something to treasure.

Beautiful College Cottage

We have been fortunate enough to stay in this beautiful cottage just off the Burford High Street. We were two couples of friends away celebration birthdays for four nights and were extremely lucky to have had good weather. We explored various villages locally Bidbury, The Slaughters, Stow On The World, Bourton On The Water etc and all worth the visit but it does get extremely difficult to park. We utilised the pubs in town and can recommended The Cotswold Arms, The Royal Oak and The Mermaid (which also has a charming beer garden). The best meal we ate just outside the town was at The Farmers Dog, what an amazing experience that was. So if you’re looking for a cozy cottage, right in the heart of a busling town, yet the cottage was extremely peaceful just off the high street then look no further. The cottage is full of high branded equipment and the welcome gifts thought the cottage was just so thoughtful. Neil, who manages the property, was always on hand if we need any questions answered and he was also extremely helpful with local information too. He is a real asset to the company and I’m extremely grateful for his attention to detail. Thanks Neil.
