We enjoyed spending time here. It was very clean and comfortable. Beautiful view. The rain on the tin roof was relaxing. The cabin was well appointed with everything we needed. Host was kind and easy to communicate with. Would definitely come back here.
This property was nice. The outdoor area and view of the lake was fantastic. However, if you are unfamiliar with this part of Toledo, make sure you are prepared and have everything you need for your trip. There is really nothing close by or near any stores or restaurants, etc. compared to Sam Rayburn. We have not complaints or issues with the cabin.
We booked this cabin for some workers to stay in for a short work trip. The owner was very easy to get ahold of for questions and extremely accommodating especially considering our short notice booking. Our workers really enjoyed staying here.
Great birdwatching, including ducks and geese that visited regularly. The yard is enormous and the lake wraps around it on basically 3 sides, elevated on wall, so unless your dog is a diver, they wonât be sneaking off into the water. Hardly any mosquitoes due to the constant breeze and great screened porch.
Spent 3 nights with my husband and 2 pups. Explored the area during the day and enjoyed the amazing views from the back porch in the evenings⊠zero complaints! Fenced in yard was just what I was looking for and everything was clean and comfortable.
This is lakehouse rental done RIGHT. What a beautiful property, thoughtfully appointed, with a HUGE tree-dotted back yard that is fully fenced down to the waterline. It has every modern amenity, but still feels comfy and warm - like you're staying with a friend. They nailed it and I can't say enought
The cabin was clean and cozy with all essentials needed excluding food. The lake view is amazing, and despite the stormy weather conditions, we were greeted with a beautiful rainbow with vibrant colors that spanned across the sky over the lake
This property is exceptional. Gorgeous views easy access, very clean and the host was very helpful and responsive. Stop scrolling and book it ! Great for teens, family or just anyone wanting to relax and wake up to a great view.
We set out looking for a cabin we could spend a couple of nights. You came highly recommended from a coworker. We were not disappointed. The cabin was extremely clean and had a outstanding view of the lake, not to mention it only took me 8 min to get to work. We will definitely be back.
Enjoy a million dollar view from the floor to ceiling glass living room windows, the large screened in porch or the wrap around deck. Light a fire in the campfire pit, the propane pit on the porch, or in the fire place.
This dog friendly property is an easy drive from Houston and easy to locate. WiFi is available, but cell signal remained strong throughout our trip. TV is available, but we didn't use it. Whether it was 49 degrees or 81 degrees, we found ourselves very comfortable outdoors as there were options for sun and shade, as well as a porch with fans or fire pit.
I haven't fished since I was a kid, but I'm tempted to when I return. We watched fish jump all weekend and bass boats hang out in front of the house. I suspect it's good fishing in this area.
The house had everything we needed to be comfortable and everything worked fine.
I'm very grateful that our dogs were welcome. They lived their best lives this weekend and watching my 10 year old act like a pup is a precious memory - we cherish these days with her more than ever.
We would return to this rental again, happily.
My son didnât want the typical beach trip, he wanted to go to Toledo Bend with a few friends. He had stayed here a few summers ago and wanted to return. It was the perfect place for the guys to boat, tube, fish, swim and relax.
This place is amazing. Ryan was good to deal with and responded quickly to messages. This house is located near the dam and has a great view. Our family had a very good time there. The yard is big enough to play games and enjoy the outside. we caught fish and our grandson flew a kite on the dock. This was our first trip that we took our little Chihuahua Charlie with us and he enjoyed laying on the dock soaking up the sun. This place is definitely a favorite of ours and hope to return soon. There is all kinds of food places from a couple miles away to about an hour. The Cafe is about 45 minutes south of there and is well worth the drive from the house. The neighborhood is nice and the neighbors were friendly. Next time we go we are going to try to take our boat as well. The dock is not far from the house. There was plenty of parking space as well we drove a 15 passenger bus there and met our son who brought his truck and there was still parking space. The showers are easy to get in with no railing so handicap people can get in them and they have a hose attached to the shower so you can take it down to move closer to the seat if you need to sit down. The back porch area was really nice it rained the first day we were there but we still got to enjoy the outside and lake since it was covered and screened in.
Top notch property and host. Neighbors and host go the xtra mile, everybody super friendly, anything you need isnât too much! Stock up on what you need, you donât want to be running out to the store every day. This is the ultimate lake experience, make sure you go bass fishing, Louisiana is something else, bbq is fantastic, fried shrimp at the Catfish Hut on 63 East at Sam Rayburn is excellent. Ryan is A#1 host, house and neighborhood is top of the line!!
