Arriving to the property we were greeted with a very underwhelming housekeeping job, bathrooms are also in need of an upgrade and airconditioning in bedroom would be a great improvement. Property manager was great, all issues and concerns raised were dealt with in a prompt manner. Thanks

Great living area, ceiling fans and aircon. Good kitchen. Good location about a 10-15 min walk to main beach & Byron town. A 5 min walk to closest beach. Very outdated bathrooms. No toiletries provided. Rust on bbq so couldn't be used.

Great location spacious comfortable apartment

We were pleasantly surprised with breeze 2. Some previous reviews were unnecessarily harsh in our opinion. Granted the bathrooms are a little dated but the location, cleanliness, size and comfort more than makes up for any shortcomings. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, including a reasonably sharp knife. Instead of complaining about a rusty bbq, with some tools we cleaned it and then enjoyed safely using it. Hopefully others can follow suit, it is not that hard to keep clean. We will be back next year.

10 day stay in Byron.

Well appointed property for the beach and the lighthouse however upon internal inspection we found the accommodation to be very tired and in need of an update.We had to clean doors and wardrobe doors with cleaning wipes as they were covered in black finger marks. The sofa upholstery was extremely soiled we had to cover them with extra bedding to sit on them.Outside balcony was too small for us to sit out and cluttered with dining chairs. Hazardous pathway up to the entrance when coming back in the evening, the lights near the doorway were on in the day and off at night.The pathway could do with solar lights leading up to the door.

It seems the owners were in the midst of renovating - the bedrooms and living areas appeared to have had a recent spruce up yet the bathrooms seemed as if they were from the '80s. Clean but tired. The dining chairs however, verged on dangerous. They were new but VERY cheap. They began to buckle when sat upon! And a first for the many Holiday Apartments we have rented, extremely SHARP Kitchen Knives! Thank you - as we forgot ours this year and we do love to cook. Apart from the dining chairs we were very happy with Breeze at Byron and would definitely return.

Peaceful, easy feeling

This was a wonderful location, quiet but close to beaches and a short walk to town. The apartment was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed (except for coat hangers, of which there were only a few) Generally though, this was a wonderful, restful place to be in beautiful Byron.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As the single in three adults, I took the twin room. With this came the second bathroom. The bathroom was certainly not up to standard as I am an 80 year old recovering from ankle surgery. The shower was over the bath with no fittings to hold whilst getting in and out of the shower. I would think that in some locations this would be illegal. To add to this the seal on the shower screen was not good and water flowed on to the tiled floor making it even more dangerous. Also some cosmetic improvements are required to bring it up to standard.The two single beds were not wide and no power points were available for sleep machines etc. Overall very disappointing.

Unit was good despite some hiccups

Pros- good value for money, location and size of the property. The property was clean. The property comes with secure parking. Kitchen was fine. Cons- dishwasher didn’t work properly (issues draining), dryer didn’t work properly, no information sent to us on how to check in despite emailing and following up (had to call on the day). On our second day some window cleaners showed up unexpectedly. Ultimately, my friends and I just wanted a place to sleep after exploring Byron and it did just that.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location in Byron Bay. The building’s walls are thin and you can hear the neighbours. Half of the apartment has been modernised and the other half is original, dating back to the mid 1980s. The living room is dark and gloomy in winter but probably OK in summer. The air con in the living room doesn’t work. Overall not bad but pretty clearly the owner doesn’t like to maintain the property and does the bare minimum to make it lettable.

Great location and spacious living area and rooms.

Loved the location , vert easy access to the pass and clarkes. Close enough to walk main beach or town. Bathrooms need a makeover though but we were very happy here.

Great spot!

Good quiet location half way between the main town centre and the lighthouse. Short walk to the beach and the cafe/restaurant at Clarke's beach.
