This well-located apartment is on the north side of town, just 100 metres from Belongil Beach and an easy 10-minute walk to the centre of Byron Bay, giving you convenient access to cafes, shops, and the beach.

Inside, you’ll find an open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area, a fully equipped kitchen, and laundry facilities—everything you need for a comfortable stay. The large balcony overlooks the shared inground pool, offering a great spot to unwind or enjoy a meal outdoors. Linen is also provided for your convenience.

Girls getaway

Really good stay here. Close to the beach and a short walk to main street. Made good use of the pool. Some minuses: no wifi and the bed upstairs (directly above lounge room) was very uncomfortable.

Good location, beach access is very close and great beach. 10 minute walk into town. Property is a bit outdated, but in a nice location. No blinds on most of the windows which meant for very early starts with kids & and property has no wifi.

Magic location

The location was amazing and the unit comfortable and inviting. But, for the price, NO WIFI is just not acceptable in this day and age .. also lack of window coverings made it virtually impossible to sleep in on what was supposed to be our holidaya sounds petty I know but this place wasn’t cheap. I know it’s Byron but I expected more for the price

Spacious loft apartment

My sisters and I had the best time in Byron. The unit was central to town and had its own beach access. Located just off the main drag so was a busy thoroughfare to beach front accommodation however, did not worry us. If you want a sleep in its not the place for you. The loft bedrooms were quirky. Ensuite bedroom was very comfy. Bed in adjacent room was uncomfortable. Downstairs bedroom was quite dark. Could hear the waves at night which was a delight to us. Overall would return in a heartbeat.

Awesome location

We stayed at the property over Christmas and had the best time. It is an older style apartment, but I was aware of this from the listing and reviews. It was clean and had everything we needed and perfect for a family with messy young kids. The location was amazing. Super close to Belongil Beach, and just outside of the main part of Byron and a nice and quiet. But also really close to other restaurants and cafes. There is an awesome pool in the complex and we had full view of this from our balcony, which was perfect for our family. We have 3 kids, 6, 4 and a baby, so it was a perfect set up for nap times while also accommodating the big kids. The only thing that would have helped was to have a fab or AC in the downstairs bunk room. No one slept in that room as it was too hot, and the kids played musical beds with us upstairs. The upstairs area has two rooms, but this is all open and loft style. So not ideal for other couples of different families sharing. But was fine for us. For us this was a great property at a really good price for our family. We will definitely be back!

Upstairs shower door is broken and downstairs shower head came flying off! You’ve got a cord that runs from one side of the living room to the other that isn’t clamped down with anything so is a major tripping hazard and even worse when you have a 16 month old playing with it!Washing machine was filthy. Had to clean it before use!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: • Did you have a good overall stay? Our stay was pleasant. We have been to Byron Bay almost every year for the last 30 years. Byron Bay has changed very much during those years. Byron Bay has become very commercial retail-wise and accommodation is far too expensive for what you get.• Was the vacation rental in a great location? The location of the Kendall Apartments is alright but nowadays beach access is of a problem and walking into town along the beach almost impossible because of beach erosion. Over the years there is also more & more traffic noise with increasing property developments in Belongil.• Was the home clean and in good shape? We used to stay quite often in Unit 5 Kendall Apartments but hadn't stayed there for about 5 years because it was overdue for renovations. At our last stay only a few things had been fixed/renovated. In particular the kitchen needs an up-grade. The kitchen garbage bin area looked very grim & dirty. One of the balcony doors cannot be opened anymore. The washing machine was not working. Some of the balcony chairs were broken. The balcony was cluttered with too much rattan furniture. When we arrived on Sunday afternoon, the balcony was full of leaves and flooded because the gutter and downpipes were completely blocked with leaves & other items. It took us hours to clean the balcony & unblock the gutters & downpipes.• Was the vacation rental management staff helpful? The staff was helpful and replied promptly to our queries when we made the booking.

Great Location

Located very close to the beach and a 15 minute walk from the main town of Byron Bay. Very roomy and clean. However, no wi-fi and had to go into town to pick up and drop off keys, the drop box was difficult to find when leaving. Although hosts were accommodating. Overall, very happy with our stay

The actual apartment itself was a major let down Everything was covered in dust , the fan upstairs is black and has a thick layer of dust and grime , the toilet brush in the ensuite upstairs was on the floor with no holder , the lights on the walls are full of dead bugs , out door chairs are all broken from age and sun damage . The condition of the apartment was very dirty and dated which was a real shame because of its location and potential . Wouldnt recommend during hotter months only 1 aircon and fan all in the master bedroom and the rest of the house has nothing

Dirty and tired

The property has no doors between 2 of the bedrooms and the living area. The third bed was really a fouton on the floor, and was so hard, it was really only good for young children? But given the upper gallery position, really not safe for little ones. Really this is only a property with 2 bed rooms. There was also very poor kitchen equipment for a family holiday. We wouldn’t ever rebook.

Great apartment

I stayed at this apartment with 4 friends. The place was bigger than we expected, plenty of space. It’s a short walk to the beach and has a nice pool. We arrived in Byron early and they let us check in earlier, which was great.

Great location unit dirty & dangerous

This property was in a great location just a walk to the beach but it was extremely dirty. This property was aged, rusty & dirty with streaks/finger prints marks & drips on walls cupboards & fridge. Dust on everything, grease on range hood, dirt in laundry, cutlery draw, coffee ring on bench, my bag & papers even stuck to the wooden table 🤢 These are just of few, cleaning is so, so important especially at this time with the Covid-19 prevalence. And the stairs at this property are dangerous a V cut into top step, several near misses (An accident waiting to happen)

Ideal for what we needed, great location.

The property does show its age with a few things. The door locks need looking at, it locks but you have to play with it to get to work. In the kitchen the cooktop works , though could be updated. Need to add a family size fry pan as the pan that’s thee is tiny. Won’t use the hairdryers as they were loose on the wall and last tagged and tested in 2013🤭 The wooden floor boards need to be redone, but otherwise it was perfect for what our family needed. Great location.
