We had such a great stay at Waves Hotel Byron Bay! The staff were super friendly and made everything feel really easy from the moment we arrived. They even added a special touch for my wife’s birthday, which made the day feel extra memorable. The location is unbeatable — literally a few steps to the beach and close to all the good coffee and food spots. Traveling with our baby, we really appreciated how accommodating and relaxed everything felt. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and the room was spacious and clean with a nice view and a great bathroom. Overall, it felt like really good value for the quality and location. Would definitely stay again!

Great location- brilliant, but tired rooms in need of a refresh - three light globes went while we were there (replaced very swiftly, great services), cracks in bathroom tiles, weirdly low shower head, and a underwhelming outdoor area as part of our room.

Great location, spacious "State room' with opening on to own large balcony. Only criticism was thin 1 ply toilet paper, and shampoo and shower gel dispensers need about 15 pumps to get enough product. A false economy we have also experienced at some other places.

Good location with easy walking distance to the beach and shops. Staff were friendly and helpful. My only issue was the beds. They were awful and dampened the entire experience. The single bed leaned to one side. The queen bed was way too spongy and you just sank, making it very difficult to move.
