Nueva ALMUDENA is a 62m2 flat on the first floor with lift in a completely renovated building.



It is completely exterior with views from its two balconies to Nueva street, one of the most popular pedestrian streets of the city and from which you can enjoy the various events offered by the city such as Carnival or Easter.



It is located right in the middle of the official route of the city's processions, so you will be able to enjoy Holy Week in CĂĄdiz from a privileged vantage point.



It consists of a bright living room with dining area and kitchen open to the living room. The kitchen has everything you need to cook delicious dishes. The living room has a double sofa-bed that gives the flat capacity for up to four people.



From the living room we access the bedroom, with a queen-size bed and a large wardrobe. It has a complete bathroom with shower and bidet, and also has a hairdryer.



Flat Nueva ALMUDENA is the perfect flat if you are looking to enjoy the comfort of flat and visit the city on foot. A very nice apartment that with a little tweaking would be excellent. My wife and I stayed here for 21 nights; most of the stay was superb. The apartment was very clean, surprisingly quiet, spectacular location for sightseeing, dining and shopping, rapid communication with management and incredibly large. Even though our stay was during carnival the noise was never disturbing. The staff were very polite and helpful, especially with accommodating our late arrival in the middle of the night because of floods north of Cádiz. An amazing and interesting restaurant, Anna’s, is just below the apartment which overlooks one of Cádiz’s main and attractive streets. It’s a wonderful place.There are a few bothersome aspects of the apartment that could greatly enhance it. Firstly, the apartment is predominantly furnished with bottom of the line IKEA products, cheap cutlery and furniture. An extremely narrow and uncomfortable sofa that I was informed had been replaced (no it’s still there) and an okay double bed (not a queen, as I had been informed) with one of those crinkly, noisy protective sheets for bed wetters. Also, the availability for wardrobe and storage space was limited. Finally, be prepared to purchase or bring your own supplies for any food (salt, pepper, sugar, olive oil, etc, as well as paper towels, plastic wrap and garbage bags. In general, a very good apartment but the management company skimped on supplies, furnishings and appliances. Great for shorter stays.

Nice Cadiz Location

The apartment is in a good location for touring the historic center with easy access to restaurants and shops. The hosts are responsive to questions. Having the elevator and no steps was a plus for us.

Clean and convenient

This is a good, standard apartment comfortable for a short stay (we spent 5 nights). The location is great - a short walk to the train, the market and many restaurants and grocery stores. While the basics are covered, there are some things I would be looking for if I were staying longer. The kitchen has some odd gaps - such as no toaster or oven mitts (we had to use a bathroom towel to get a hot pan out of the oven). And no pantry items (no salt and pepper or cooking oil). The living room sofa was relatively uncomfortable. And a personal beef - only one outlet at each bedside, meaning my husband couldn’t have both a CPAP machine and a bedside lamp - or an inability to charge a phone at bedside. That said, we were not unhappy with this as a short term stay for two in a delightful town.

Wonderful place to relax and write a book!

Cadiz is a beautiful town that seems to pride itself on easy living. Apartment was clean, efficient and in a great location. Busy and active during the day, quiet at night. The only drawback was an occasional cigarette smoke drifting into the balcony doors from the cafe below. Annabel and Sandra were fantastic!

The perfect Cadiz apartment

Apartment Nueva Almudena is perfectly situated on Calle Nueva, a busy pedestrianised street just off the main city hall square. This lively and attractive area is packed with shops, bars and cafes which creates a great buzz. The rest of Cadiz' narrow and civilised street life is a short stroll away. The apartment has two balconies facing the street and all the c21st amenities you'd expect. We always used the stairs to this first floor apartment but there is a lift when bringing heavy cases up or down. The bedroom is at the back of the apartment and so is very quiet despite the busy location; it does not receive direct sunlight and so with the door closed during the day it stays relatively cool (efficient air con is, however, provided if necessary). Cadiz beaches are a pleasant walk away through the town and along the front (15-20 mins). Our favourite was Playa Santa Maria del Mar. We arrived by train from Seville (approx 1 hour 30) and were pleasantly surprised to discover how close the station is to the city centre (with the Cadiz4Rentals office on the way!).

A nice conveniently located flat

Cadiz is wonderful city. Our flat was perfect to stay at and explore the city. I had some private problems, which meant I had to print, sign and scan contracts. The staff helped without hesitation. I will be forever grateful.

Perfect Cadiz home away from home

Our apartment on the first floor was everything we wanted. Location was exceptionally handy to station, port, shops and restaurants. It was brand new and very clean and bright. Apart from a bed that creaked each time you moved, it was perfect. It would be good for the owner to sleep in the bed and work out why the base is so noisy! Otherwise, lovely for our week in beautiful Cadiz.
