I regret to report an extremely disappointing experience with this hotel’s reservation policies and customer service. Due to a medically certified condition, I was unable to travel as planned and offered to provide the hotel with proper documentation to support my cancellation request. Despite this, the hotel refused to offer any refund, cancellation, or even a credit toward a future stay.
While I understand that hotels have policies in place, reputable establishments typically demonstrate a degree of flexibility and understanding in genuine medical emergencies. The unwillingness to make any accommodation in this situation reflects poorly on the hotel’s commitment to guest care and basic compassion.
Policies should exist to guide operations, not to penalize customers facing circumstances outside of their control. This experience has left me with no desire to stay at this property again, and I would caution future travellers to carefully consider the lack of flexibility before booking here.
