Designed for the tropical North Queensland lifestyle, the Clifton Beach House features an open plan kitchen, dining and living area which open on to a timber deck. Rather than cutting trees down to make space for this deck, the deck has been designed around the central Melaleuca tree to provide a wonderful living sculpture! It looks fantastic when lit up at night time.

Disappointing

The property was advertised as 5 bedrooms with a/c and Tv. It was disappointing that property manager was aware that a/c and Tv not working in 1 b/r but did not tell us or offer a reduced $$ rate. This meant 1 person had to sleep on couch in lounge. Fan in room not sufficient for humidity and heat. On arrival house was not cleaned properly, previous renter food in fridge, kitchen bin not empty, floors not clean especially ensuite bathroom, couch cushions were dirty and were put aside, bbq left dirty and we had to buy cleaning brush before could be used. Other minor issues were dealt with. The layout of house and space was great, the experience disappointing.

Great property for families with small kids!

Great property for a family holiday with young kids! It's a short 3 min walk to the beach/playground, fence around the pool, spacious living room, and TVs in each bedroom.

Potentially an excellent place to stay

Unfortunately there were problems with the power so there was no power for half a day and then workers with trucks running were in the substations outside the house for the following days. They were very loud, to the point of where you could not hear other people speak. The toilet seat needs to be put on the toilet so it is straight. You feel like you are about to slide off it as it currently is. Otherwise - great location and great space.
