The Area:

Located in Queensland’s tropical north, the city of Cairns is a great base for exploring the Great Barrier Reef and the Wet Topics World Heritage Area. In Cairns town there’s excellent cafes and dining, markets and beautiful beaches nearby making it a year-round travel destination. Plus, it’s easy to get to famous sites like Cape Tribulation and the Daintree.
