Overall a clean hotel, air conditioning, great view of the pyramids. Beware of the staff trying to get you to book tours, etc through them, pretty relentless on selling. Even though the booking clearly stated roundtrip airport shuttle service with booking 3 or more nights (I did 6) they refused to drive me back to the airport. I had to uber it. Says non smoking, but maintenance worked the entire trip in the hallways and they all smoked constantly. So not a bad hotel, but some shady staff for sure.

This is the most friendly place. They would do anything to make you feel even better than home. Thanks To every single person of the hotel. From head to toe. Has the best view to the pyramids the restaurant stuff very professional, friendly and the food exquisite. Highly recommended. I'll be back to this hotel

Best place with view of pyramids would stay there again also was a ticket booth near to enter pyramids.Staff was excellent offered you extra trips if you have down time Also will have someone escort you to get a sim so you can have cell phone service Bring extra money to tip your guide and driver, only cation is just say no thank you if you don’t want to buy souvenirs even just having them take your picture with your phone a tip is expected.

The reviews you read are fake, I am 100 % sure. We booked a 4 night stay with my wife and 2 boys. First let me start off by saying the overwhelming smell of camel dung and horse manauer is the primary smell everywhere in and around the hotel. The breakfast was a complete joke stale leftover bread from the night before, flies are all over the breakfast area and on the food. It's on edible. We only had one meal at night the kebab platter and me and my son got very sick for six days afterwards. My son and myself develop a intestinal bacteria from eating in the restaurant. The showers are disgusting the bedrooms are disgusting nothing worked, we complain the first night and they moved us to a second room that was worse. I finally had enough and I checked out and moved into a different hotel downtown Cairo. Do not stay in this hotel do not stay in any hotels near the amid pyramids. The photos are not real most of the photos that you see our from a different hotel or something but it is not of this hotel. THIS is a huge scam and I cannot believe Travelocity have not remove this hotel from their list. Again trust me do not stay in this hotel or any hotel near the peer amid's it was the worst experience of my life. Albert I

What a great staff and what a great view! The staff made us feel right at home and were extremely hospitable!!!! The view from the rooftop dining/seating area was UNBELIEVABLE!!!! We had a direct view of the sphinx and a birds-eye view of the pyramids. For those traveling to Cairo, I recommend staying at least a day (preferably a few days) in Giza to really take in the sights!!!! I will definitely stay at the Hayat on my future travels to Egypt.
