We’ve stayed at hotel arts a few times and it’s always amazing. Rooms are great and it’s within walking distance to a lot of restaurants. However, the pool staff were chaotic. We were 15 minutes early to our reservation so we just waited by the pool. Keep in mind there were lots of empty tables because it was 11:15. We waited until 11:40 and saw others being seated so we inquired again about our table, they said someone will come get us. We waited 15 more minutes and asked again and they said the same so we ended up just telling them we were sitting at one of the tables that had been open the whole time. Then we had to ask twice for menus and ended up just getting our own. There was about 4 staff and it was not busy. I understand things happen so I would still recommend this place, just something was going on that day and the girls at the front seemed frazzled

You definitely pay for the location. We paid for a balcony, figured maybe could sit out and have a drink or two… our balcony was a view of the cover of the pool and no chairs or anything. Definitely would have just gotten a standard room had we known. Then we had breakfast and parking included in our booking, but the girl checking us in had no clue. We just paid for valet parking and then asked about breakfast the next morning and were given a voucher. The breakfast wasn’t good, nor was service. The valet guy was great, though! So location for walking from the Saddledome is wonderful, but the rest of our experience wasn’t great for the money it cost.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Arts. My only dislike was where our room was located on the 2nd floor. There is a set of steps off the elevator so thinking we could use the trolley for all our stuff, had to park it and take it all in a few trips. It was a long hallway lol. All in all a lovely time!

Room was covered in dust and the washroom towels had stains on them. Was my first time staying here might consider it my last as we had to dust off the tables and washroom counters. Keelie at the front desk was amazing though. She had the best customer service I had experienced at a hotel. Very kind an accommodating!! Thanks again for a good stay.
