We enjoyed our 5 night stay at this basement apartment and then rented it for a second week. It was clean, spacious and bright and conveniently located near the university area. The patio/courtyard was a quiet space to sit during the warm days that we experienced. It is in a quiet neighbourhood, within walking distance of stores and restaurants, and close to Nose Hill Park. Coffee and green tea are supplied, but no other amenities (like cooking oil or spices) for cooking. The beds were comfortable but on the softer side. We would definitely rent again.
We were bringing our dtr to UCalgary (her 1st year) and we liked that we were only 7 mins away from the University. The home was cozy and was perfect for the 5 of us. David was quick to respond and responded to every text. Absolutely will be staying here again
We didnât realise this was a basement suite as the listing mentioned entire house. However, it is a lovely recently renovated suite with heating and aircon. The place was tidy and the beds were comfortable. It has a nice big fridge, freezer, a dishwasher, kettle, drip coffee maker, oven, element, BBQ, microwave, washing machine, dryer, ironing board, iron. There is complimentary tea and coffee. Cutlery, a pan, pot, plates etc. everything you would need for a short stay (though remember to bring your own cooking oil). There is also a patio with outdoor furniture. The property manager, David that we dealt with was extremely helpful, friendly and responsive. We had a wonderful stay for the Calgary Stampede. The location is roughly 15-20mins drive from the Saddledome, depending on traffic. We used Lyft for transport which worked well. There is a supermarket, liquor store and cafes a short drive away.I do want to mention that the listing could be seen as a bit misleading. The title includes 3br and there are photos of what appears to be three bedrooms in the listing, however the description does mention two bedrooms. One of the photos is of the same bedroom twice, but with a different piece of artwork on the wall captured at a different angle. This could be interpreted as three bedrooms if the person booking didnât read the finer details. The couch turns into a pull out bed and there is a trundler bed, so you could fit 6-7 people if needed. I would recommend this stay.
