We liked the complete breakfast. We also enjoyed the Terraza restaurant pool service. We had issues with room service (not answering the phone, or pick-up then transfer to another endless ringing number) on multiple/most occasions. Biggest issue, housekeeping walked off with a piece of jewelry on morning one - a man’s bracelet. Reported to the Security Director, Mr. Carlos, who conducted an investigation - the bracelet magically was found under the mattress after investigation, and my wife was accused. We have choices and will not return to this hotel. Since last stay in 2018, service has degraded and frankly, the accusation has cost the Intercontinental a frequent traveler. Disappointing.

I stayed for three days. the room was excellent, clean and nicely furnished. The staff were professional, friendly and always available. The breakfast buffet was great; plenty of food and friendly staff. The restaurants on the property were also very nice. It was nice having a jewelry store right on the property. It made buying that gift for a special someone so much easier for me. I wish my stay had been longer. I will definitely stay here on my next visit to Cali.

Excellent for comfortable stay in Cali!

Pros: Excellent accommodations and service.
Location: The hotel is in a nice area and reasonably close to the business and shopping districts.
The Intercontinental is excellent place for a very comfortable stay in Cali. The room was large and the bed, bathroom and other furnishings were excellent. They have ample staff that is courteous and very responsive to every need. Food in the restaurants was excellent and very moderately priced. I especially enjoyed the large variety of excellent food at the morning buffet which was included in the price of my room. Key staff is fluent in English which was very helpful to me because I my Spanish is very limited.

Relaxing stay; beautiful facility; superb staff

Pros: Excellent facility! First class service.
Location: Location is convenient for tourism, business, and malls. The best way to travel in Cali is with the convenient and inexpensive taxi service.
The Intercontinental is an excellent facility with outstanding service and staff. The rooms are large and stocked with many comfort items. There are several excellent restaurants and the morning breakfast buffet, that is free with most plans, has many excellent choices. Unfortunately, I do not speak Spanish; however, all the principal staff speaks English which was very convenient for me. The staff made every effort to meet my individual needs. For example, I needed an interpreter to assist in a business transaction and the concierge quickly found a very satisfactory one for me. I highly recommend the Cali Intercontinental.

Hotel intercontinental

just came back from Cali and stayed at the hotel Intercontinental,20 years ago when i first stayed at this hotel it was very impressive,the problem is they have done nothing to the hotel in all this years,its falling apart,the door to my room would not close,i called three times and nothing was done till the second day,the toilet has no water pressure,things are like mirrors are coming off the walls,if you can get it for under 50 dollars a night its ok,i would not pay anymore than that,it needs to be updated,its not 1995 anymore .

Cali trip

The hotel was nice, centrally located and the staff was very helpful. My only criticism would be that my hotel room was small.
