). It features a beautiful, bright living room with a sitting area and TV, CD and DVD players, and access to the balcony and Wi-Fi. Open, well-equipped, and modern kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, electric kettle, and toaster; the large dining table seats 4 people.

Callantsoog is located in the north of the Netherlands. Only a narrow row of dunes separates the wide, clean beach from this cozy and picturesque town. This area has the most hours of sunshine and the least amount of rainfall in the Netherlands. Callantsoog is home to the “Seinpost,” the highest dune in North Holland, and the “Zwanenwater,” an internationally recognized nature reserve featuring dunes, depressions, marshes, coniferous forest, and two small lakes surrounded by rich flora. The town centre features dining options, a supermarket (open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., including Sundays), nice restaurants and cafés, as well as various retail stores. Notable towns in the area include Hoorn, with its historic old town and harbour; Alkmaar, with its famous cheese market; and Den Helder, with its naval museum, doll museum, and harbour. In Schagen, there’s a Frisian market in historic costumes during the summer. Amsterdam is also just under an hour away. You’ll find more information and maps in the house.
