A Dolphin Dreams by the Sea

No Pets Allowed. From the rooftop patio jacuzzi, you can watch the dolphins frolic, the whales migrate and the otters pounding rocks on their tummies. This spacious, well appointed 3 bedroom (k,q,2t), 2 1/2 bath home offers a wonderful vacation escape. The kitchen with granite counters and stainless appliances lends itself to preparing wonderful gourmet meals, or maybe a chef to come in and prepare and serve your meal in the dining room while you gather outside to watch the sunset. The house is within a block of the sand and tide pools and a short drive to town. Fall asleep to the sounds of the waves and the seals. A magnificent home. My college girlfriends meet up every year and this year they chose Cambria, which is close to where I live. This house is very well appointed. Comfortable beds. Nice kitchen. Beautiful location! Deer hang out in the backyard and it’s just a short distance from the beach and hiking trails. My husband and I walk those trails frequently with our pups and it’s a very special place. On this weekend, the girls opted to spend most of our time shopping & dining downtown, which is about a ten minute drive. Note: check-in is also downtown so you have to go there first to get the house key. Adequate parking (2 car garage & 2 spots in driveway). Not a fancy house but very clean and nice. I really liked the kitchen - really nice fridge/freezer, and filtered water. They also encourage saving water & collect recycling , which are important to me. Nice that there are 3 bathrooms. We did wish some of the spaces were larger for hanging out - living room setup was tight - and both balconies only had two chairs. A nice table & chairs on the rooftop would be really nice! This is one of the nicest VRBO properties I’ve stayed at. I would stay here again. Use caution driving in the neighborhood. Lots of wildlife!

A Dolphin Dreams by the Sea is an amazing and well put together house in all aspects. The location is beautiful and tranquil, the house is well stocked and prepared, the hot tub on the roof is amazing as is the start gazing. I am excited to return one day with my family and friends. Thank you!

The home was perfect for our stay. The pictures of the ocean view do not do it justice. Beautiful in all rooms. It was comfortable, we felt right at home. Our interaction with management was prompt and professional.

Great place, great location to get away from the crowds and enjoy the ocean!

The house was great! Very clean. The rooftop deck was a nice feature and there are many places to get a good ocean view. All in all, a wonderful place to catch up with friends or family without the hassle and crowds from other beach communities.

Best view from hot tub

Very nice property with lovely views of the ocean from the rooftop & upper living area. Nearby walking trails & lots of wildlife to see. A bit remote but still relatively close to food & shops but phone reception was nil even with WiFi connection. Property was nicely maintained & comfortable, although slightly outdated. Enjoyed our stay here!

Excellent location! Very nice and well kept house

Such an excellent location yielding great views and very quiet. A block or two from the ocean and from the land preserve and hiking trails. You will see deer and other wildlife all day long. House is kept up very nicely and has everything you will need. Kudos for the owner and property manager. PS
 the outdoor grill is gas, you will not need to bring charcoal or lighter fluid

Great location and living room view

The property with ocean view is bright with well equipped kitchen. The living room is spacious and very relaxing, In addition the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve trail is just 50 steps away. The trail goes along the coastline is carpeted with wild the flowers and interesting plants in June. And the tidewater pools by the trail are full of amazing sea critters.

Beautiful location but could be better

The location and view was spectacular. But the BBQ didn't light. My husband had to use a piece of burning cardboard to get it going. The hot tub(the reason for booking this place) took over 12 hours to get up to temperature so it wasn't usable for half our stay.

Limited Views

Overall, the property was beautiful. We mainly rented it for the hot tub. However it's on the roof, so there is another flight of stairs to climb, you're completely exposed to other neighbors and have no privacy. The kitchen is spacious but the living room has a very limited view of the ocean. Gorgeous garden area in the back, but can only get to it from the side garage door or you go through the downstairs bedroom. It's a beautiful house, I love that it had 3 restrooms, it just wasn't what I was looking for.

Dolphin Dreams was even better than the photos. The sunset view, free roaming deer and weasels, coupled with proximity to the ocean and trails was nothing less than spectacular. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean with all the amenities and kitchen appliances. We loved our tome in Cambria and are already looking forward to a return trip.

Beautifull home, Excellent location

Convenient to walking trails along the ocean. Close enough to enjoy the town of Cambria's restaurants and shops, not far from Paso wine region (which we visited almost daily) and Sensorio light display. Plenty of wildlife (deer mostly) nearby and in the yard/garden/streets near the home. The house was clean and well kept. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking for a group of 6 adult foodies. And plenty of space for 3 couples to share time together and still have some privacy. The view from the roof (and hot tub) are amazing! And the view from within the home is nice as well. The small drawbacks, that did not detract much from the overall amazing property, was the gas grill which did not heat up enough to actually cook meat. We ended up broiling in the oven. And the one bed downstairs in the room with two beds really ought to come with a pole vaulting pole. The woman in that couple could not actually climb on to it - so they just slept in the other bed.

We had a great weekend get away. Great views and hiking trails.

We were told we could be there early. We arrived at 2 :45 and had to wait until 4:30 for the cleaning crew to finish preparing the house for us. When we arrived the house was unlocked and the cleaning crew was not there. The laundry was running, beds unmade. We were there about 10 minutes before they arrived again to finish.
