Welcome to your relaxing coastal escape in the quiet Park Hill neighborhood of Cambria! This charming single-story home sits on a peaceful corner lot just two blocks from the beach and offers lovely hillside ocean views—all with no interior stairs. It’s a rare find in the area and a great choice for couples, families, or anyone looking for easy, comfortable access throughout the home. Recently updated with fresh exterior paint and beautifully refurbished kitchen and bedroom cabinets, the home blends cozy coastal charm with a bright, refreshed feel. The large, open great room is a favorite spot to unwind, featuring expansive windows that frame views of the northern Cambria coastline. Step out onto the deck to catch glimpses of Hearst Castle and the nearby lighthouse, or settle into the outdoor seating with a blanket and enjoy the ocean air.

Inside, the fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals at home, and just outside the dining area you’ll find a gas grill for easy barbecuing. The three bedrooms are thoughtfully arranged and include a California king, a queen, and two twin beds, all with quality mattresses for a great night’s sleep. The primary bedroom is located on the opposite end of the home for added privacy. The king and queen bedrooms have their own smart TVs and DVD players, and the primary bedroom has a comfortable seating area for watching TV or movies. The living room has a huge, comfortable sofa, a telescope for distant viewing, a large DVD collection, and a selection of books and games to enjoy.

The outdoor spaces are just as inviting. The front deck off the living room has immense ocean views and Hearst Castle can be seen on a clear day. There are comfy deck chairs and a small seating area for enjoying a cup of coffee while overlooking the ocean. In the backyard, the elevated wood deck has patio table seating for four, while the lower stone patio offers additional seating—perfect for dining outdoors, enjoying a glass of wine, or relaxing under the stars. Turn on the fountain for some added ambiance, or enjoy the rumble of crashing ocean waves.

Located just across Highway 1, you’re minutes from Cambria’s Main Street, where you’ll find local shops, cafés, and restaurants. Walk to Cambria Coffee Roasters for a morning pastry and locally roasted coffee, enjoy casual pizza or barbecue, or a fine dining restaurant. Cambria has most all of it. You are just steps away from scenic Fiscalini Ranch trails, great with your pup (yes, this is a dog-friendly home). Shamel Park and the famous Moonstone Beach are both nearby and ideal for oceanfront strolls, picnics, or beachcombing for jade and sea glass. A trip to Hearst Castle and a visit to the elephant seals beach is a must for the Cambria first time visitor.

Cozy home in great location

Our family of three and our dog had a lovely visit in this cozy home. It is located close to a park and a dog-friendly Beach. Beautiful views off of the front deck. Downtown shops and restaurants are only a couple minute minutes away by car. The house was clean and provided all that we needed for a 4-day stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The location and amenities were great, the house had a nice homey feel and the views were, in fact, awesome. Talked to the owner John a few times and he was really helpful and responsive. Be prepared to get a good work out walking up the hill! Would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous Stay!

We were able to bring our two corgis and enjoy almost a week of beautiful sunsets on the water, either from the deck of this lovely home or on the beach which is just a couple of blocks away. The house was clean and spacious with many comfortable "touches." The master bedroom was HUGE with a seating for two and entrance onto the back deck. We LOVED our stay.

What a great few days in Cambria! My kids did not want to go home! The house was great, loved the layout and enjoyed the amazing ocean view from the front deck. Temporary home away from home

Stayed at tge house while replacing floors in my nearby house. Conveniently located around the corner. My 80+ year old mother and my two dogs were comfortable there. Wonderful Sunset viewing and even a rain storm.

House and neighborhood was as advertised. Single level home was important to us and the house was very clean showcasing the owners delightful paintings. Its location was great for hikes on the beach and Fiscalini Ranch and close to the quaint town of Cambria. Our ten day stay was just not enough. We will definitely return

The home is very comfortable and has a great layout. Not only does it have an amazing ocean view from the front deck (perfect sunset location) but a gorgeous, private backyard area that is protected from the wind. Walking out the front door, you can be on the meadow trail within just a few blocks, or down at the ocean within a few blocks. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. It's a very short drive down to Main St. to all the shops and restaurants. Honestly couldn't have picked a better spot.
