Spacious room outside Cambridge that was 10-15min drive to the park & ride and West site Cambridge STEM campus. Ideal for an open day visit as parking was free at this hotel and we didn't fancy driving in central Cambridge. I used the swimming pool in the hotel which was a good size and open from 6.30am. the breakfast was plentiful and buffet style.

We had the intention of using the spa and facilities but we were put off with children having swimming lessons. It was not a relaxing experience. We understand from a business point of view, why the hotel rents out the pool for swimming lessons - but for a nice relaxing spa experience it should not be advertised as such. Been to better hotels with spas. Would not recommend.

Reception staff (Helen) were really friendly. Bar staff seemed a bit sleepy. Room was lovely, clean and spacious. Only basic freeview on the TV. Spa was too busy, not enough beds. Wouldn’t class it as a spa.

Perfect Spa Break Weekend near Cambridge

We had a great night away at the Belfry. Staff were very friendly and attentive at all parts of our trip. Front desk were really nice and informative when asked. Our room was at a great spec, clean and we enjoyed the large space and modern features such as bedside usb chargers. The spa was also at a good level and size. It was nice it was accessible out with checked hours. Don't expect to get a good swim at busy times, however sauna and steam room are good sized but the gym had a great amount of equipment. Breakfast was also had a good spread and good quality. Overall a great stay and night away a stones throw from Cambridge.
