Had a lovely stay room dated just needs a bit of an update ( TV) Was a joke lady who looked after us was lovely really looked after us cooked a lovely full English breakfast
A single overnight on a motorcycle trip. Accommodation was very comfortable and staff (Krista) was really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely with vegetarian accommodated no problem. Everything really clean and tidy with tea, coffee in room as well as shampoo & shower gel. View as you exit the font door is lovely. Would definitely stay again and recommended.
Unfortunately Rosemout did not live up to our expectations. The room was described as De Luxe but didn't exhibit any of the expected characteristics of "rich, elegant, or sumptuous; superior in quality, number of accessories".
There were no lamps on the bedside tables, no cups with the tea and coffee facilities which was probably just as well as the coffee sachets were at least two years out of date. The room was cold. The TV was little larger than an iPad. The toilet seat was partially dislodged from it's correct position.
At breakfast all guests are expected to sit together at one table, there was no menu to indicate what was available, the tea was delivered to the table in two mugs rather than a teapot and milk.
This property was described as a "homestay" which I gather can meant just a room in someones home so perhaps we were wrong to expect it to be more like a three star hotel.
On a positive note the view acroos the harbour was excellent and the proximity to town was very convenient. We have a lovely meal just a 10 minute stroll along the road at the Craigard House Hotel & Lochside Restaurant.
I stayed one night for Springbank distillery tour and the hotel was 10 out of 10. Very spacious room with fantastic view. All the facilities were in good condition and clean. Lastly, homemade breakfast was very good. Hope to visit again.
We absolutely loved our stay there. The proximity to everything was added bonus. Room was spacious and quiet. Would love to stay there when we visit Campbeltown next.
This was a great old manor converted to rooms. The hosts are lovely offering a great personal touch. The room was clean and large and comfortable. Shower had good water pressure. Great views of the loch. Would highly recommend.
We had a lovely stay at Rosemount Guest House. Our hosts were welcoming, very helpful and were very pleasant to deal with. The house is beautiful and has a very stunning view and within short walking distance to the town centre. The breakfast was very satisfying and delicious. We will certainly come back when we next visit Campbeltown.
Stayed one night. Room was comfortable and clean, perhaps a little dated, however the owner has big plans to develop and refurbish as they have only just took over. Breakfast was hot fresh and delicious.
Lovely big room with sea views. Dinner was very good - excellent choice on "20's Plenty" menu (3 courses for ÂŁ20) Great selection at breakfast this morning and a lovely view. Staff were all very friendly. Were talking to the owner about the history of the building.
