This place is very close to the Spanish border, a few kilometers from the city of Badajoz, approximately 45 minutes by motorway from the center of the city of Mérida, 15 kilometers from the city of Elvas recently recognized by UNESCO for the enormous value and heritage of its walls and never forgetting the peculiar and very special Vila de Campo Maior where the rural house is located and which offers us excellent regional cuisine in several restaurants in the region, has a strong cultural component with its castles, museums and local particularities , such as the chapel of bones, one of the few existing in the world, the convent of Santa Beatriz, the Casa Museu de Santa Beatriz among many other points of local interest.

Amazing. Very calm and peaceful
We stayed there as a group of 4adults, 1 child and a dog for a long weekend and loved it! All you hear there are birds and other animals far away. Very peaceful. Town with a large supermarket is 10mins away by car. The swimming pool is a god send if the sun is out as it gets very hot in that part of the country. I'd definitely return!

Puntos positivos mas fuertes: exterior perfecto (piscina y jardín); trato muy bueno; ubicación para los que buscamos desconexión. Consejos a mejorar: renovar lavavajillas; renovar mosquiteras; mejorar mobiliario de la cocina; añadir lavadora; limpieza del interior de la casa (es una casa de campo, pero se pueden quitar telarañas de las ventanas y rincones).

Um pedaço de Céu
Casa excelente para parar, escutar (o silêncio!) e realmente RESPIRAR. Quando o que se busca é sossego, privacidade absoluta e umas boas braçadas de piscina, então este é "O" sítio! Apetrechada com praticamente tudo o que precisamos para o dia-a-dia, é um MUST deste Alentejo maravilhoso. A Dona Maria Fernanda foi uma excelente hostess (gratos pela deliciosa Sericaia, e pela receita!) e o Sr. Duarte idem. Só foi pena os últimos dias terem sido de chuva... Sem dúvida alguma, precisamos de sítios como este para voltar a saborear a Vida! É por isso que vamos voltar. Muito obrigada por este pedaço de paraíso!

Náo só a propriedade tem uma localização fantástica para sossego e relaxamento como é rural e bem representativa da traçada Alentejana.
