In Cancale, nestled in the hollow of a very quiet hamlet 200 meters from the customs path, this pretty country house has been specially renovated in a sea spirit - happily mixing old antiques, exposed or paneled stone walls and modern facilities for an authentic and comfortable stay.
Destined to become for each of you THE holiday home, it awaits hikers, tribes of friends or family and lovers of maritime atmospheres to make them enjoy the happiness of living in peace while at the seaside, quite simply.
From the house, everything is done on foot or by bike: hiking, beach, fishing, market and town center for your enjoyment.

Able to accommodate 8 people, "Big Island" is organized around its large living room on the ground floor serving as kitchen, living room and lounge, with its large and beautiful old fireplace ready to warm the cool evenings and equipment complete to cook local products and share good times together; On the 1st floor, a bedroom for 4 people - acclaimed by children and teenagers - with a pull-out bed and 2 bunk beds, a bedroom for 2 people in the South with an exposed stone wall, a bathroom with a large shower, toilet and washing machine; On the 2nd floor, a beautiful attic room bathed in light for 2 people with a small view of the nearby sea.

Take a bracing holiday in Brittany, walking on the seaside paths, gourmet dinners, fishing on foot during high tides, the sunsets over Mont St-Michel or the ramparts of Saint-Malo!

For a minimum of 2 nights, a long weekend or a longer stay, come and enjoy nature and the seaside all year round. Well behaved pets are welcome in this house at no extra charge. Non-smoking gîte.
The house does not have a garden. Private parking provided in front of the house for 2 vehicles.
Cot, high chair and BB bathtub provided on request (subject to availability).

Wir sind als Familie (4 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder) angereist. Das Haus entsprach absolut der Beschreibung im Inserat. Es ist wunderschön und nur ein paar Fussminuten vom Meer und Ortskern entfernt. Die Kommunikation mit unseren freundlichen Gastgebern war unkompliziert. Wir werden die Bretagne bestimmt erneut besuchen und können den Ort und das Haus (es gibt noch 2 weitere) sehr empfehlen.

Wohlfühloase in einem der schönsten Orte der Bretagne
Wir haben eine Woche in diesem wunderschönen Haus verbracht und die Zeit sehr genossen. Das Steinhaus ist für unsere Familie (2 Erwachsene, 2 Teenager und 1 Hund) perfekt gewesen. Genug Platz, sehr sauber, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, absolut zum Wohlfühlen! Alles, was man braucht, ist vorhanden. Die Küche ist gut eingerichtet, es gibt eine Waschmaschine und sogar einen Kamin. Die Tatsache, dass es nur ein Bad mit einer Toilette gibt, hat uns in den Ferien nicht gestört. Die Straße ist ruhig, am Ortsrand und in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Meer und dem Sentier des Douanier gelegen, über den man auf atemberaubende Weise sowohl in den Norden als auch in kurzer Zeit in den Ort und Hafen von Cancale laufen kann. Die Hausübergabe war absolut problemlos, die Vermieterin Dominique ist eine sehr nette und sehr herzliche Frau, die uns zu Beginn alles gut erklärt hat und bei Problemen (die es zum Glück nicht gab) auch immer zu erreichen gewesen wäre. Wir sind sehr sehr glücklich aus diesen Ferien nach Hause gekommen und würden uns freuen, wieder einmal im "Big Island" Urlaub machen zu können!
