Want to feel as though you're staying in the mountains, but remain local to Texas? This is the spot for you. As you enter the property, you will drive up a hill that winds around a forestry of trees surrounding the property. At the top of the hill, you will be greeted by a modern, yet rustic home towering over the trees to provide an unforgettable view that overlooks rolling hills as far as you can see. It is truly a magical experience offering rest from the daily grind of normal life. The hill country views are amazing, and we are located close to whatever it is you're looking to do! The home is 5 minutes from the lake, 10 minutes from the Guadalupe River/Whitewater Amphitheater, 15 minutes from Wimberley and local breweries/wineries, 20 minutes from San Marcos and the Tanger Outlets, 20-30 minutes from Gruene, New Braunfels, and Schlitterbahn, and 30 minutes from Dripping Springs. It truly is the perfect spot for a vacation because there is so much to do close by.

The home is furnished with a queen-sized bed in the downstairs bedroom as well as the loft. The loft also includes a sleeper sofa that can fit 2 people.

In the kitchen, you will find that it is stocked with all the silverware, cutlery, dishes, pots, pans, spices, and cooking oil you'll need to make meals at home.

We also provide a coffee bar stocked with a Keurig, coffee pods (including decaf), a selection of teas, sugar, and creamer.

The loft is furnished with a nice flat-screen Roku TV so you can login to any streaming app during your stay.

Additional amenities you will find include: a washer and dryer, iron, blow dryer, towels, shampoo/conditioner, and more.

You'll have access to the entire home, other than the shed, as that stays locked for our cleaners. For those of you looking to do some work during your stay, we offer high speed internet, and our dining table has a great view for you to enjoy during the workday.

We do not allow pets in this home and require that you notify the host about any service animals.

Please note, there is a high school located across the street from the home which is in your view to the left but most of your view is of the trees and hills. There may be times where you can hear the sports activities while sitting on the deck if sports are in season.

Please note, in an effort to maintain a secure premises, the home is equipped with a video doorbell at the front and back entrance. The doorbell cameras are also there to help us communicate with guests who have trouble accessing the property and need to reach us quickly. The cameras are ONLY on the exterior, and there are no cameras on the inside. They cannot see the fire-pit or hot tub for privacy purposes.

Our home is thoroughly cleaned between each stay.

Any items left behind by a guest will be either thrown out, or shipped to the guest at their expense. Canyon Lake is the perfect Texas Hill Country getaway with things to enjoy for any type of guest. The home is 2.5 miles from the Canyon Lake Marina and a great beach spot for the family. For those of you looking for a float trip on the Guadalupe River, the house is only 6 miles from the Horseshoe Loop (a 2hr float depending on water levels) with several tubing outfitters. If you're lucky, you can even catch a concert at the White Water Amphitheater on the Horseshoe. For day trips, Wimberley is 8 miles away, Gruene is 15 miles away, New Braunfels is 17 miles away, and Dripping Springs is 19 miles away.
