WE had a great stay at Fairways on the Bay very comfortable great location . Very friendly service .Bed very comfortable nice linen . Need a shelf in the shower for soap shampoo body wash

The staff and the location make Fairways on the Bay an excellent choice! Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful at every turn. And the hotel is literally right across the street from an outstanding beach and right beside a string of excellent restaurants. A great stay!

Our stay was comfortable .. the accommodation was good in that room had a great view of the beach and mountain ..but there was no lifts to the rooms and the pool was at another place .. the overall experience was still good

Location was awesome, breakfast voucher you could use anytime that day! We had 3 rooms all together felt like staying in a house, but older and bathroom floor slippy. Staff very nice. Felt very safe.

Great location and very friendly staff who were really helpful. Bedroom big and very comfy bed. Bathrooms very tired though and in need of refurbishment. Our toilet flush broke a couple of times. Overall a very pleasant stay.

The staff was extremely kind, helpful, and always cheerful. They made the stay a wonderful experience. The hotel itself was a beautiful historical house, with a modern, tasteful and luxurious decor. I would stay there again! The location was ideal as well, steps away from the beach and strip.

Amazing location in Camps Bay - AWESOME cafe!

I had an extra night in Cape Town and wanted an inexpensive room somewhere in Camps Bay. The value of my stay blew me away. The woman working at the front desk was so lovely and helpful. Upon checking in, she gave me a handful of vouchers for the cafe next door called Mynt where i went and had the best burger in my life (for free). The bedroom was huge, the shower was small but i honestly wasn't looking for anything more in that dept. The property was right across the street from the ocean and couldn't have been better located. I wish i had more time in Cape Town just so i could stay here again. 100% would recommend to a friend.

Very good experience for our stay

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. It is well located in front of Camps Bay beach and has many restaurants nearby. Our rooms was on the second floor and there were no lift service. Fortunately, the hotel staff was very helpful and help us to bring our luggage to our rooms. We felt safe to park our car within the gated compound. Parking could be a test of your driving skill when it is nearly full. We were given a meal voucher of 250 Rand for breakfast at Mynt Cafe next door. But it only open at 9am during winter time, So, on the suggestion of hotel staff, we took our breakfast at another cafe one block away. 40 Rand for a set of Sandwitch and coffee. The voucher was used to offset our dinner at the Mynt Cafe instead. The hotel manager was friendly and accommodating, she was kind enough to extend our check out hour by 1-2 hours. Overall, a very good experience for our stay.

Super location!

If you want to be in the Camps Bay area, this is the hotel for you! Located right on the main street, with a beautiful outdoor pool, just steps away from the beach. Lovely large rooms, some with balconies and secure parking. A big outdated, but clean.

This best thing about the property is the location. You cannot beat it in Camps Bay! The hotel itself is fine-nothing special, but we didn't spend much time in the room. I would definitely recommend based on the location and value of the room.

Fab position but shabby rooms

We booked a room with balcony, fridge and tea and coffee facilities. We received none of this! According to the hotel hotels.com only reserved a basic room!! The hotel however brought in a stand alone fridge and a tea tray (the best they could do as the hotel was fully booked). Hotel position is amazing right on the front however it is very shabby inside. Our room didn’t have a wardrobe, had a a punch hole in the wall. A shower so small a larger person wouldn’t fit in and various other shabby things. Hotel staff did their best for us and were lovely.

Great location, comfortable

The room was very spacious and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was large and clean, though the finishings were a bit rough. The location was excellent - close walk to all the amenities of Camps Bay. Parking was very much appreciated as was the breakfast. The pool was small but well situated with views over the beach so you could feel you were there without the sand!

Great place in a nice area for a good value price.

The room is large and stylish and the water pressure in the shower is great. Breakfast is at a cafe next door which is nice and a good choice of food-but it is an ‘allowance’ system so if you both want a meal, juice and a coffee you will need to pay extra as the allowance won’t cover it. The WiFi was faulty but we just asked for it to be reset and it was ok again. The pool is small but you are bang next to the beach. Overall and very good choice.
