The room was a good size and well laid out. We had paid for a room with a large balcony and it was indeed spacious. However, we were on the second floor and the fact that there were 10 lanes of traffic outside meant that sitting on the balcony was not a pleasant experience. Additionally the noise continued all through the night meaning broken sleep. We had raised the idea of a higher floor before, and on arrival, but were advised nothing else was available - be aware of the noise issue when booking this type of room.
The aircon unit in the bedroom sounded like a plane taking off - again not conducive to a good nights sleep.
The V&A waterfront is a 20 minute walk (beware of scammers at the traffic lights!) but there were several restaurants much nearer to the apartments which was a definite bonus. Secure parking, a pool, and a restaurant (which we didn’t try) were also useful facilities and daily housekeeping was also an unexpected bonus.
