Our stay of one week was wonderful in every aspect, with special recognition for the staff. Everyone from the house manager to the kitchen staff to the maintenance man made sure to check with us daily to ask if we needed anything. Everyone was friendly and over the course of our stay we got to know some of the staff quite well. They also provided excellent suggestions for places to visit in and around Cape Town. In particular, the house manager arranged for a guided tour of the Langa Township, which was very worthwhile. My wife and I are vegan and the kitchen staff prepared some things for us that were beyond their normal breakfast offerings. I would recommend Welgelegen House to other vegan travelers. The room was very comfortable, with firm mattress beds, roomy storage shelves, closet, and a spotless bathroom with both a tub and shower. On the main floor there is a nicely appointed lounge area with comfortable chairs, couches, books, games, etc. The location is within walking distance Kloof Street, Company's Garden, and much of the the downtown area. It's also easily accessible for Uber or taxi pick up. We would definitely stay here again and would also recommend Welgelegen House to our friends.

We had a fantastic time and were impressed with the accommodations. The locations were perfect for dinning. Breakfast was excellent and each afternoon they put out treats.

The team went above and beyond to make our stay special. We were staying at Welgelegen just after our wedding nearby and the team accommodated an early check in (and made it quick as they assumed our day would be busy!) and greeted us with champagne and a lovely card. The room was amazing (the bed so comfortable and bath luxurious!) and the breakfast was delicious! Thanks for everything Prince and all the staff!

We had an amazing time at this hotel! We started our honeymoon here with a short one night stay prior to staying in another capetown hotel. This place was absolutely stunning, and the staff was beyond words! They warmly welcomed us starting from pickup at the airport and we’re extremely attentive and engaging. We cannot recommend this place more! Loved our time here- it was too short!

Perfekt om man ska bo i Kapstaden några nätter!
