Come relax and unwind in our Lakefront home at the beautiful Lake of Egypt! Our Lakehouse on Tracy has it all, starting with AMAZING Lake views from all rooms!
Access to the lake with its own Private boat dock.
***(Pontoon Boat and/or kayaks available for rent)***
Our attached boat house is one of our favorite places!
It is the perfect spot for fishing, hanging out under the covered deck, or sitting to enjoy the sites and sounds of Lake life. Great for watching the sunrises and sunsets. Fun for adults and children alike on the sand beach whether you are laying out, reading a book, taking a nap, or playing in the sand. We have a low slope lot, directly to the water! Inside you can enjoy This Professionally decorated Home that has all the comforts of "home" with views of the lake No matter where you look!!

It is a Beautiful home that has an Open Floor plan to include spacious Livingroom, with plenty of room for everyone!

Dining area and fully equipped kitchen that has all you could need for all your cooking, Baking, and Boating needs. Including a coffee maker and a coffee beans grinder. Appliances including a dishwasher and seating at the island to keep the chef company.

Upper and lower Living rooms have decks to enjoy the lakefront and lake views or sit on the deck at the boathouse where you won't get a better view while enjoying a beverage and fishing.

Master bedroom with a Queen Bed and Private bathroom.

Main floor 1/2 bath with laundry.
Second bedroom with Bunk beds and a queen futon bed.

The bunk area is located off the second living area with a Twin size bed that has USB outlets on the Headboard for its occupant and a queen-size Bed.

The lower Level Bathroom has Double sinks that have plenty of room to share. All our beds and bedding are protected with mattress protection.

Bring your favorite movies and enjoy them on the Flat screen TVs with the provided DVD Player or enjoy the cable by Dish network.
Full-size Washer and Dryer. WIFI/Dish network - 2 decks (upper and lower) Charcoal Grill. Firepit on the beach (firewood available*) Pontoon and kayaks available*)

If you need a highchair and/or pack-n-play, please let us know and we will gladly make these available for your stay.

All you need to bring are your toiletries, food, and beach towels to relax and enjoy!

We arrived at 1 AM after a very long travel day and the next afternoon after sleeping in my husband, discovered raw sewage, backing up in the toilet and shower. We immediately contacted the host as we had to quickly leave the property due to the smell. The host immediately offered us a refund as we had to quickly find another place to stay that ended up being more expensive when we returned to the property for my husband‘s pillow, he had left behind the municipal sewer company. Was there performing work along with the host husband. In the following days, we attempted to reach out to the host to process our refund and she ignored us. Finally, after several days, she said she would process our refund when she processed our refund she only refunded half of our stay and would not communicate with us regarding the rest of our refund. The major sewer backup ended up costing us almost 1000 due to the host, not honoring her offer to refund us. I’ve called Vrbo five times and they also keep making promises to me and have yet to compensate us. Terrible experience, BEWARE!!!

The view of the lake was amazing! Since we were there in cooler temps, we enjoyed sitting by the firepit one afternoon. We were close to hiking spots and wineries that we wanted to visit.

Our family had a wonderful time at the Lakefront house. It had everything we needed. Kids like having their own space downstairs. Boat dock to left of boat house was large and worked well for our boat. Daughter spent hours paddle boarding in the quite cove. Only improvement I would request is a gas grill but maybe that's because we are out of practice using charcoal.

The property is great with access to the lake, but the house needs a good cleaning and a deep cleaning. There was hair on the toilets, showers, in the fridge, the floors were dirty, etc. We just got there and my son spilt water on the kitchen floor. So I grabbed a paper towel to wipe it up and the paper towel was black. All in all, the house needs a deep cleaning. Inside the fridge & freezer is disgusting (not just the hair) like all inside, windows/window sills have crum, rugs & furniture are gross and need vacuumed. Definitely couldn’t walk barefoot in there. And I’m not sure what the 140 cleaning fee and a 94 service fee for a gross house. It is a cute house, though, with a nice deck and access to a boat dock. The place is overpriced in my opinion. I hate to give a bad review, and I typically don’t, but they need to know.

Lake of Egypt Family Vacation

Overall, our trip was great, and we really enjoyed our time on the lake! The house was okay, but didn't live up to our expectations based on the other great reviews. Pros:- smelled very clean upon arrival- beautiful view of the lake- good and convenient location- had most kitchen items needed on-hand- able to fish and swim off dock- owner responded to texts and gave clear instructions for check in, door code, departure, etc. Cons- towels had dog/musty smell (we bought laundry detergent and sanitizer and a few new towels at Dollar General to use)- in need of some small repairs/deep cleaning (door frames were dirty and had moisture around them, black bugs in living room vent, bathroom vent fans were very dusty, uneven floor board near kitchen island) - charcoal grill was rusty (we had to buy aluminum grill grates at Dollar General to use it) and no lighter on site- some dishes were dusty/dirty and needed cleaned before using- beach is in need of clean up and fresh sandHas great potential with a few improvements!

Beautiful scenery

We spent one week here. Everything was great- the hosts were extremely nice and helpful. My husband has stage 4 pancreatic cancer and we wanted to go where we could relax and enjoy the scenery while he is still feeling ok. We were not disappointed! The house was very nice and the scenery was breathtaking. We hope to go back !
