Great hotel and staff

We always stay at the coldra great value for the money. Breakfast is amazing great quality.only thing spoilt it was price of parking £12 per night thought a bit expensive but thats inflation for you didnt spoil our experience. Highly recomended well done

Wouldn’t recommend

Suite. Carpets were not very clean, as was not the bathroom floor. Bog standard normal pillows. No complimentary water in room. Side lights only in bedroom with only 1 make to turn on and you had to get out of bed to turn it off at wall then back to bed in porch darkness. If you want the curtains open to bring in daylight, you are in clear view of people in the pool (4134) with no inner curtain/ cover! Manager managed to look busy when walking to check out when passing so didn’t have to say good morning and when checking out wasn’t even asked how our stay was - which was a total underwhelming experience especially for the best part of £270 for the night. I would not recommend.

Stayed for one night to watch a show in the icc. We had a free upgrade which was a nice surprise. The room was comfortable the staff were great and the breakfast was lovely.

Our stay was welcoming at the start, room was a good size for a family of 4. Only had a rainfall shower which did not suit two young children and extremely slippery with no shower mat!(we asked but they didnt have any). After first night we realised springs and loud creaky noises everytime we turned on the mattress! Not a good nights sleep at all. Made front declsk aware, said they would have room serllrv into it! On return to room later that evening, nothing had changed.

The management has changed since we last stayed and everything seemed very inconvenient. There was prebookong and limited times for spa and gym use. The dining room was fully booked when we arrived after a 4 hour journey. The staff would not us allow us to eat or drink our own food in lobby. And rooms were not ready till 4pm. The staff were not warm and happy around the bar and dining area. We would not stay here again

Okay

The check in host was friendly but the speed to check in with a young family felt like it took along time. This was just a stop over for a night. £50 deposit and £12 parking which i must of missed in the advertising and still can’t see it. Don’t take this away from the property though. We didn’t get to experience much. The restaurant looked exceptional. The room was spotless when we arrived. Would have liked a hot bath but the water only ran warm. Perfect for my 4 year old son. Didn’t have breakfast as it was a lot for 1 adult and 2 kids with a £10 buffet breakfast with kids eating free 2 minutes down the road. They didn’t need anything fancy.
