Average overnight trip

When we entered the room there was a double bed and a sofa bed which hadnt been made up. There were no extra sheets to make the sofa bed. We telephoned reception and explained and they made it up during the evening ( we had gone out) but on return we noticed there were only 2 towels for 4 of us. It was midnight and we didnt bother asking.

Hotel was fine. But certain advertised amenities were not working (air conditioning) or not available at all (laundry services advertised in booking but front desk said there were nome). Location is ok around halfway between the downtown and the docks area. Very walkable.

Visit to Cardiff

Excellent location for visiting Cardiff - 20 minutes walk to the city centre. Plenty of parking on site. The staff were very friendly and helpful; the room was comfortable and clean. Good breakfast available. Highly recommend this property

Was easy to find. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Catering staff amazing. Katy on reception a superstar. Only thing was that tea & coffee in room wasn't refilled. But you could go down to bar/reception and ask for more any time

The hotel was nice and the staff friendly but the aircon in the rooms not working (it was a hot weekend in August) although, bizarrely, it was working in the bar area. They did supply a plug in fan but it was not very effective. The area looked a bit run down.

Lovely peaceful hotel on the waterfront. Do ask for the waterfront view (otherwise you’ll be facing car park). Comfortable room, large bed, kettle, iron. The breakfast is basic, but all in all good value for money. Cardiff Bay/city centre are 20 minutes walk in opposite directions. Bus stop is 5 minutes away, train station 10. So great location.

Good value for money

Nice comfortable room, friendly staff, and a good buffet breakfast. It was difficult to find a space yo park at 6.30 pm in the hotel car park.

Friendly staff, comfortable beds, good location. However, we were on the 3rd floor and the room was roasting (only 24 degrees outside and not that sunny). They supplied a fan when asked, but it didn't really do anything. The warmth definately affected our quality of sleep. The loos are also very low, felt like we were back in school. Also, no milk for the coffee machines at breakfast, which was not labelled and we had to ask about.
