Wonderful stay

Overall had a lovely stay. The hotel room was excellent with drinks and snacks on the desk and also had a coffee machine and fridge. Only minor detail was that it took a while to check in.

The hotel was quite nice, with a stunning view of the city and clean rooms. The service members were friendly and helpful. The AC broke down in our rooms, which had to be changed due to the incredible humidity. In the rooms without AC, air coolers were used, which could not function properly due to no openable windows and poor air flow, leading to the humidity. Once rooms were changed, everything was fine and much cooler.

The air conditioning in the room was not functioning, and the temporary cooling unit provided was largely ineffective. Despite my request to change rooms, the request was declined. Additionally, I found the staff to be unaccommodating and unhelpful in addressing the issue.

Nowhere near worth the price I paid for it.

Won't be staying at this hotel again. Because the pool is open to the whole public, not just hotel guests/residents, my partner and I had to pay £10 each to go swimming per entry. Not to mention the awful experience we had in being first assigned a room with busted air conditioning. When my partner went down there on Monday afternoon and asked for the ice in the air cooler to be replaced, he also addressed the matter of maintenance for the room's air conditioning with, 'We'll be going out at about 2pm, so you can send the maintenance person then so they can do the work while we're out'. The staff somehow got it into their heads he'd asked for the ice for the air cooler (independent from the main air conditioning in the room) to be delivered at 2pm, so we were left in a boiling room in the middle of a heat wave for another hour before anything was done to address either issue. We both have health conditions that make excessive temperatures VERY dangerous - I'm on medication that makes me prone to dehydration, he's diabetic - so it could have been a genuine threat to our health. Lastly, neither TV functioned properly - the one in the second room didn't even turn on right - so we were stuck using my Switch in tabletop mode, and there's no Netflix here from what I saw either, so bang went the idea of using watching anything on that too. The view from the room and the mere existence of the pool were nowhere near worth the £271 I paid, with everything else in mind. Not happy.

We had a good night apart from the room was a bit dated the phone in the room did not work I ordered food and it was not right the chips was brunt the sandwich I ordered was a ploughman sandwich it had cooking butter which was not nice it didn’t have the pickle in it and the bead was not fresh it was 9 pounds and the chips was 4 pounds and 5 pounds tray fee she I was not happy we didn’t eat anything

Check in was quick with a friendly member of staff. The room was very spacious on the 8th floor, cool temperature, very comfortable bed and clean bathroom. We also had a fridge, iron and ironing board in the room. The bar was quite serving until 11pm. The breakfast had a good selection vut the hot food was cold and tge coffee machine produced awful coffee. A wasted £24 for two breakfasts.

Great location and lovely hotel, and clean. Air con fab with the heatwave! Hotel was quiet too, we were on the 7th floor. Only negatives are the car park is very tight, and they didn’t fill the shower gel up in the dispenser for when we arrived. Simple oversight? I had to remove the shower gel from the bath dispenser holder.

Got to our room. Firstly the bin wasn’t emptied from the last guests who stayed Secondly the room was boiling hot poor AC, windows don’t open and 2 fans going either side of the bed and it was still too hot. Had to have 2 cold showers before going to sleep it was ridiculous! Not worth spending the money to stay here Really friendly staff just a shame about the room. Wouldn’t recommend

Booked a room to see oasis , obviously prices was ramped up to exploit people but the price was not a reflection on the product. Was told I could check in at 3pm so had a dinner reservation at 4pm ended up missing our evening meal as our room wasn’t ready. Understand they was probably fully booked but when your charging people £600 plus just because a gig is on you expect to be able to check in on time. The bed was two singles pushed together which felt like it sloped right into the crack. Was clean and staff was trying there best location is also good with safe and secure parking facilities.
