Dump of a hotel made very special by the homeless troop sleeping out the main entrence door. Pay 21 quid to park, 10 quid to swim and 16 quid for breakfast. Dump of a hotel, i fully understand why Mercure sold the place. Never again.

Great location

Nice hotel in a central location. Easy access to parking underneath. Spa and pool are nice could do with updating. Friendly staff, rooms are clean and comfortable with great views of the city.

Sunday night away

Arrived at 2.00pm and was told we couldnt check-in until 3.00pm. After a drink in the bar, we returned to reception, the queue stretched out of the main door with customers waiting to check-in, finally checked in at 3.30pm. Maintenance had to be called to get the TV to work. Finally, two sessions in swimming pool cost £40 (£10/person/dip).

Poor cooked breakfast.

Beeakfast. Suggest you temperature check food items. I was down at 6.30 for opening and beans were cold. Sausage uneatable. Continental absolutely spot on.

Front staff are great.

The front of house staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby looks fantastic, but other areas look a little run down. (Especially the pool area)
