Bodhi's Cabin: Creekside Getaway

Enjoy a restful stay at Bodhi’s creekside cabin. This space is perfect for a couple looking to get away and enjoy some time outdoors. Wake up to the sound of the birds chirping and finish it watching the deer graze across the creek. If you’re lucky, you might even see an eagle flying down the creek. Feel free to bring your kayak/canoe and enjoy a paddle down to the dam or spend your day reading on the screened in porch.

THE PROPERTY

This is a studio style cabin featuring a lovely screened in porch for eating and relaxing, an outdoor shower, and (almost) full kitchen. (We do not have an oven). The space is best suited for a couple, but a third guest is welcome to sleep on the day bed on the porch. (Porch is not climate controlled). This space is not appropriate for someone who won’t want to see a big or two as they are impossible to keep out of the space!

Guests are permitted to have campfires in the fire pit by the creek. Guests are not allowed to use the indoor wood stove.

GUEST ACCESS

Guests have access to the entire property and the creek frontage. Guests are encouraged to bring their fishing gear (if they have a license) or their kayak/canoe!

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS

We are always available to help during your stay. We will not meet you for check in, but you are always welcome to call us with questions/concerns.

OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE

We do install an AC window unit for summer. The cabin does not have any heat and guests are not permitted to use the indoor fire stove. A space heater can be found in the closet if there is a chilly night!
