Comfortable and modern, "Kalypso's Nest" is a beach-lover's dream! Enjoy fantastic, unobstructed views of the boardwalk, beach, and bandstand from almost every part of this special space. Experience beach living and a vibrant seaside location in our quiet and modern condo with spectacular light and views, oversized windows, and a private balcony!

WHO IS KALYPSO?
In ancient Greek mythology, Kalypso is the daughter of the Titan, Atlas. Known as a radiantly beautiful sea nymph, she prevents Odysseus - the hero of the Trojan War - from returning home. Kalypso would rescue the shipwrecked Odysseus and nurse him to health on her island paradise.

This chill space is just what you need to feel relaxed and refreshed after a day at the beach and have your choice of activities at night. DĂ©cor is modern chic with luxe touches throughout. Just like Odysseus, you will find it hard to leave "Kalypso's Nest."

The Nest will sleep 2 in the private bedroom with a Queen bed and 2 on the Queen La-Z-Boy sleeper sofa in the living space. Beds are made upon arrival, and towels are provided for your convenience. Smart TVs with access to subscription channels are in both living and bedroom areas.

The kitchen is fully stocked for the chef in the group to prepare meals while watching the waves, with dining seating for 6.

Lovely natural light floods the living space, and the décor is modern coastal chic with macrame touches and a calming, neutral grey and sand palette.

The balcony allows for great views of the lively beachside. A fan of music? You've got a birds-eye view of the bandstand and festivities below - without having to navigate the crowds.

Beautiful condo in a great location! We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Condo was spacious and comfortable. I would have been just as content staying there the whole time instead of going out.

Kalypso's Nest was a sweet place to stay in the heart of Carolina Beach. Our favorite coffee shop is right next door and the boardwalk and beach are right across the street. The condo was very clean and bright with the wall of windows facing the ocean. Only thing that would have been helpfulwas another mirror so that two people could get ready at the same time. We would definitely stay again!!

Nice place with a perfect location

This was a very nice place for a weekend getaway. We could see the ocean from the windows and the location is great as it’s in the heart of the boardwalk so there’s lots to do within walking distance. The owners were very nice and responsive as well!

The owner canceled on us as we were driving to the destination. Just cancelled and didn’t call or anything. VRBO doesn’t allow for same day reservations, so we were forced to find a hotel last minute. We needed up paying so much more, as everything was all booked up outside of the expensive hotels. We booked this weeks in advance! I was so upset!

Kalypso Nest review

Good location, right in the center of the boardwalk, walking distance to most places. You could watch the fireworks from your room on Thursday night. Overall cleanliness was good, except the floors made our feet black. Our 8 month old had his hands and knees covered every time he crawled on the floor. Also, there are no curtains or blinds in the main living area. In the mornings the sun was shining right into the room to where you couldn’t even see. The windows were also facing the carnival rides so the lights from them were flashing into the room like a strobe light as soon as it got dark.

Within walking distance to many restaurants and bars, and you can also rent a bike just around the corner. Condo was very clean with great views and had everything we needed for our stay.

Perfect apartment for a getaway!

The apartment was great! It looked even better than advertised. Right down town, easy access to the beach and even though it was on the boardwalk it wasn't too noisy. We had the best seats in the house for the End of summer fireworks! We would definitely stay again.

Great location. Easy check-in. One of our family members uses a wheelchair and the elevator was plenty big enough for her and another person (unlike many of the elevators at the beach). We would stay again.
