A unique stay in a fully renovated farm cottage adjacent to the Mullundung State Forest. The cottage is sited on a working beef farm with extensive views of the farm and Reedy Creek Valley from the living area, deck and master bedroom.
Kangaroos and wallabies are often seen from the deck at dawn & dusk grazing on adjoining paddocks. You can experience the quiet serenity of the Australian bush, devoid of traffic noise & neighbours. This is the ideal place to remember that life is wonderfully different without internet and mobiles, that leaving all that behind for a while can allow your mind to slow, to connect and to find itself again.
The beds are supremely comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, there are indoor and outdoor places to sit and enjoy the peace and bird song, and many places to visit.

THERE IS NO INTERNET, NO WIFI, AND UNRELIABLE MOBILE SERVICE

We provide a DVD player with a wide selection of movies, plus books and magazines to read. We also provide a sweeping view over the farm and surrounding forest, but unfortunately we can't allow farm access. Pets are welcome and we have had both cats and dogs stay so please let us know if you're bringing your pet. There is firewood provided for the indoor and outdoor fireplaces.
There is unlimited access to the fully fenced area surrounding the cottage.
This beautiful area has so much to offer. Ninety Mile Beach, where chances are you'll be the only people there, Port Albert, an old fishing village, Yarram with great coffee and the famous murals, Tarra Bulga National Park, a southern rainforest. Its a toss up - go out and enjoy the sights unique to this area, or stay home, light the outside fire and toast marshmellows, after lunch on the deck. There are walks in the Mullungdung State forest, which surrounds the farm, where you will see unspoilt Australian nature. Dogs are welcome to enjoy the bush too (its not a National Park) but if your re-call is a bit rusty, keep them on a lead.
The night sky is truly spectacular. No light pollution - the stars are a show of their own and in the early mornings you might see mist drifting through the valley below while the sunrise is a pink, blue and mauve sky.
