Come enjoy a great gateway. Home on the lake! This house (Hardwood Floors throughout) is located on Lake Huron, very clean 3 bedroom house 1,500sf. Only 1.5 hrs driving from Metro Detroit. we have over 100 feet of private sandy beach on Lake Huron. Weekly, bi-weekly and monthly rental available. Weekly rental include the use of our 3 Bedroom house. The house is furnished with log beds and new mattresses. It accommodates up to 10 people. Please call for availability. The house is located 16 miles north of Lexington, Michigan on Lake Huron that offers views of the sunrise. The shallow water is crystal clear and offers the best fishing experience. The private beach to enjoy is right out your front door with 2 decks - Grill - Sandy Beach -Fire pit on beach-- Great Fishing. Enjoy all the comforts of a home for your next vacation without the high cost. over 100 feet of private beach Not 50 feet like the others so you dont have be close with any neighbors.

Kitchen is nice to cook in, but lacks a saucepan and a cutting board. We made do with a cookie sheet as a cutting board and used a skillet to boil potatoes. Takes longer, but it works. More than ample and comfortable sleeping arrangements, but no reading lights over any of the beds. One small bathroom. But seriously, the amazing view and the beautiful setting makes up for everything. Nice place!

Wonderful beach property with beautiful sunrises, remodeled kitchen with all the supplies you could need. George was a great host, and made sure we knew he was available if we needed him. Thank you!

This is the second time we have stayed at this location. The view is fabulous. Not only do you get to stare out at the lake but freighters are constantly passing by. If you are a rock hound you will enjoy walking the beach and finding numerous stones. The property manager George is very attentive and responds to question immediately.

The yard hadn’t been mowed. The final stairs to beach were risky. No closets. Nothing but 4 hooks on bathroom & one bedroom door. Lots of beds, but hard to get around in bedrooms. The kitchen was well stocked & very nice. Shower on the small size, nowhere to put shampoo. But, the view was fantastic

My family and I rented this home for 3 nights last week. Upon arrival the view from the home of lake huron was amazing. The home definitely has a more rustic decor and aestetic, which i have no complaints with. There were a couple things that i didnt enjoy. The shower light was broken, the ice maker didnt really work, and the stair to the beach are very awkward, especially for my 74 year old mother. I was told there was a ramp, but the grassy hill isnt really a ramp to me. We did find some sand in the beds which is off putting, but also a beach house is going to have sand. Im not sure if its added in the listing but water shoes are a must. We had to go get water shoes for my nieces . The shoreline is completely rocky and i struggled to walk even with the water shoes. Unfortunately the first day was the only day that was really hot, but thats weather in Michigan. We really enjoyed the water that day. I will say after the sun went down it was spiders gallore on the deck, so the next day we went and cleaned and sprayed the deck with bug killer. All in all my family had a great time. We made memories that we will never forget. We had a campfire and smores on the beach. We shopped in lexington. This homes location is A1. It was a little pricey in my opinion but im glad we went and would definitely use vrbo again.

Perfect for complete relaxation

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this property. We love it! It is the perfect place to truly unwind from a busy life. The beach is lovely, and the water is warm in July. We absolutely love looking at all the Petoskey and Charlevoix stones. I would recommend water shoes, if you are going on long walks or in the water to swim due to the stones that wash in at the shoreline. The neighbors are quietly friendly and George is a wonderful host. Nearby Lexington and Port Sanilac have cute restaurants, shops, and Farmer's Markets. The last two times we have stayed there, we had a double rainbow that started straight out from the house and ended at the southern point. Pretty amazing site!

Peaceful stay on Lake Huron

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home slept our group with plenty of room and we loved the privacy on the beach as there are no homes for several lots south of the property.The house was very clean and the communication was top notch with George which we really appreciated!As others have mentioned, the deck steps and deck do need attention as some areas are deteriorating. Other than that, the stay was very exceptional. We will be back in the future!

Lake Huron Getaway

What a wonderful week we had staying at this property - right on Lake Huron! The beach was endless, clean, and heaven for rock collectors! We appreciated having lounge chairs on the beach ready to use. Other than a few minor discrepancies, the property was as described. (The hairdryer was missing and the AC downstairs was not installed in the window - but in fairness to the owner - it has been a chilly spring and early summer) For older guests (as we were), it was somewhat risky on the lower level of steps of the deck as there was no railing to hold onto. I am confident the owner will address this issue. The owner (George) was great to work with. He was always prompt in replying for any and all inquiries. I also enjoyed being able to bring my dog - she enjoyed the vacation as much as we did. I would stay here again.

Peaceful and Tranquil

This cottage was a lovely stay for us. The owner was receptive and answered all my questions quickly. Since it was before peak season we had the beach all to ourselves and didn't see a lot of people the whole week. We took many walks down the beach for treasures. I would advise bringing water shoes because you cannot escape the rocks. All in all ten out of ten.

Nice Place

Very nice summer cottage on the Lake. It was what we expected. We liked the new, updated kitchen. (Stove, fridge, sink, counters) Plenty of pots and pans and dishes so we could cook and eat at the house. We appreciated that. The outside deck and stairs seemed a little run down. They could use a little up-keep. Redo the stairs down to the beach, or shur them up a little more. Give everything a coat of paint. Next time we will come later in the season, perhaps, June or July, when it is warmer. Most of our stay, (May 19-22) it was cold, overcast, and rainy. Over all, we still had a nice visit. Thank you!

The view and beach were awesome! It was so nice to relax and hear the waves crashing. The property was clean and comfortable. Only suggestion is maybe a shelf or something for storage in the bathroom/shower. Thanks for a great stay.

Excellent! The view was amazing!

Everything was absolutely perfect! The view is spectacular and it was very easy to get to the beach even my 79 year old dad could do it. Great host and great place to stay! I highly recommend!

AMAZING !!!

First off, the house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking !! Beds were comfy and there was even extra bedding if needed. The beach is wonderful - plenty of sand but also rocks for treasure hunting. They had chaise loungers for laying about, and even some floaties for the lake. The host was SUPER accommodating and friendly and if I could give him 12 stars I would !!!!! Thank you !!! Great house on the lake - the waves soothes you to sleep..... love this house and the host !!!!
