Bait and Switch!

This was a Bait and Switch and one of the worst travel experiences I have had. I arrived to be told that the person in this suite had asked for more time and so they had given me another apartment (not renovated and no balcony). When I pointed out the unfairness of it I was rudely told that I could cancel if I didn’t like it. What proceeded was a very uncomfortable and stressful situation (including that nobody spoke English), in which they wanted me gone and I had nowhere to go. Note that this is a property managed property (with a number of other apartments) so be very careful to not book with this company. The company is being investigated with VRBO and I am still awaiting a refund. Horrible experience, stay clear!

Vent the gas

Nice apartment. The gas water heater was not vented. Whenever we used hot water, the apartment was filled with gas. We had to open the sliding glass door to survive. The toilet seat was broken and therefore uncomfortable. The bed was great. The WiFi was disconnected during our last night, which caused discomfort on our last morning.
