Could Definitely improve customer service

Place is beautiful - location is great. Price is a 5 star but service overall was hit or miss. Our housekeeping lady was super nice and servers at One fine dining were great and also servers at breakfast “Fabio” and “Emanuel” were super nice — everything else medium at best.

Had a wonderful stay. Very clean in all areas. Views are spectacular. Staff was very helpful in all aspects. Full buffet breakfast every morning was fabulous. Walking distance to town of Carvoeiro is a nice option….stroll the streets, or do the boardwalk for breathtaking views.

We had an unforgettable stay at Tivoli Resort, thanks to the incredible customer service. I especially want to thank Mariana and Luminita at the guest service desk. During our stay, I had a sudden health issue that required an emergency visit. Since we don’t speak Portuguese, Luminita immediately called multiple hospitals on my behalf, spending over an hour until she found a private hospital in Faro that could see me. She even lent me her personal phone so I could reach my insurance company in Canada. The next day, when I needed a follow-up appointment, Mariana kindly helped me again by contacting the insurance company to make sure everything was approved. Later, when we checked out, we realized there was a mistake on our flight ticket. Mariana patiently contacted the airline and airport until the issue was solved. The service here was beyond exceptional—every staff member we met was professional, patient, and truly guest-oriented. The resort itself is stunning, with the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen at a hotel. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with high-quality food and even champagne to enjoy. We had such a wonderful experience and will definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

We had the best time at Tivoli. They were so friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. On my birthday they delivered champagne and cake to our room. Beautiful place that is walking distance to lots of shops, restaurants, and beaches. Highly recommend.

Nice property overall but there wasn’t the feeling of staff going out of their way. One day no pool beds at all available. Drinks are very expensive No beach at all. This hotel is located next boardwalk with beatiful view. Walking distant to villege. 4 restaurants within the hotel are very good. The staff are very friendly and hospitality.

We had a great stay at Tivoli. The hotel has beautiful views over the bay and I would recommend getting a sea view room. The breakfast is also delicious and lots of options. The staff are very attentive and friendly. 10 min walk down into Carverio and lots of nice restaurants nearby. The one restaurant in the hotel is also definitely worth a visit. The gym is open 24/7 and is very nice and well equipped. My only points of improvement are that the air con in our room was not strong enough and the mini bar fridge was also not cold enough. Also they had a wedding on the friday evening which takes place in the sky bar and is very loud for all the surrounding rooms - whilst not necessarily a problem as it ended around 11pm there was no pre warning or communication from staff about how late the wedding would go on to this would have been an easy thing to do and would allow people to plan their evening better.

Phenomenal location at the cliffs. Nice breakfast. Front desk and breakfast staff friendly and helpful. Nice view from room but beds were uncomfortable. Musty smell, sometimes septic like, was in the bathroom. But we didn’t let these issues spoil our stay.
