Charming Tuscany Villa with magical Garden, shared pool, Chianti Area

Villa la Cipressaia is a portion of a typical Tuscan farmhouse immersed in the green Chianti hills covered with vineyards and olive groves. Recently restored the original stone building stands in a well tended green lawn. The large private garden is totally fenced ensuring complete privacy. Entering the property you are welcomed by a delightful stone paved courtyard.

The rustic structural features have been preserved and tastefully melted with the functional but elegant furnishing where modern comforts and antiques complete the charming picture.

From its privileged hilltop position Villa la Cipressaia boasts a enchanting scenery with views extending over the countryside surrounding.

This is the ideal place if you wish to spend your holiday in a quiet and peaceful environment where you can enjoy absolute relaxation and find relief from the stress of the everyday life.

ACCOMODATION

The Villa has is own private spaces: private huge garden, private forniture and everything.
The swimming pool is shared with the other people of the other part of the villa. Time to stay at the pool: from 10 AM to 1 PM and from 3 PM to 6PM.

The villa extends on two floors.

On the ground floor there is the living room with TV sat, WI-FI internet connection, open fireplace and double sofa bed. Still on this floor is small toilet and the dining room with kitchen fully equipped with also oven and dishwasher. Both rooms have direct access to the external area and the garden.

On the first floor there is one bathroom with shower, a twin bedroom and the double bedroom with a covered portico.

GARDEN & SWIMMING POOL

Approaching the villa you will feel immersed in the green of the countryside surrounding. The garden is a perfectly manicured lawn offering unobstructed views from the patio fully equipped to eat and relax outside. The location also allows undisturbed walks through the vineyards.

Although the neighbours share the pool with Villa la Cipressaia, the pool (14 x 6 meters) is in a separate garden and does not at all intrude on the peace and tranquillity of the private garden attached to the property or the view, which stretches away over the rolling Chianti hills.

LOCATION:
Villa la Cipressaia is perfectly located one hour to Florence and only 20 minutes to Siena. It is conveniently located to also reach San Gimignano, Volterra, Cortona and Arezzo. Fifteen minutes away in Rapolano are the spas with hot spring heated pools and fango (mud) treatments. It is five minutes drive from shops and restaurants in the village of Castelnuovo Berardenga.

The nearest village of San GusmĂš just 2 km away from the property, offers all the amenities included restaurant, bar, wine bar, grocery and post office. Not to mention the Valdichiana outlet village where more 100 shops of the main modern brands welcome you just 35 minutes from the property.

With in the area one can find horse riding, ballooning, and mountain bike hire, wine & olive oil estates open to visit and cooking classes.

La maison est située dans un endroit magnifique, prÚs de 2 trÚs beaux villages (San GusmÚ et Castelnuovo Berardenga). Le jardin est superbe. Un point négatif est l'éclairage dans la maison, et les interrupteurs peu pratiques, difficiles à trouver.

La situation sur la colline Ă©tait magnifique, la piscine un rĂȘve et le jardin simplement un paradis! Malheureusement, la maison Ă©tait sale, dans la cuisine de la graisse et de la poussiĂšre accumulĂ©es, moisissure dans le frigo, plats mal levĂ©s (sauce tomates), la douche fonctionnait bien, mais Ă©tait Ă©galement plein de moisissure...etc... For a true Tuscan experience, this location is perfect. You can find your own private spot within the stunning garden, surrounded by rolling, vine-covered hills and lines of cypress trees. There's also a great pool for relaxing. If you want to avoid the tourist crowds of bigger towns, this is the ideal retreat. You'll find plenty of lovely villages and great restaurants within a short drive. We're so thankful to Gina and Bianca for their wonderful hospitality.

This villa was such a charming place and is so serene and beautiful. We loved being able to cook with a full kitchen and eat our meals on the patio in the garden. We used the villa as a base as we visited wineries and small hill towns, everything was about an hour drive away. The host provided very clear instructions on how to get to the property and on how everything worked in the house. The views and pool were amazing as well. No AC and we had unusually hot temperatures, but there were several fans and there was often a cross breeze. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing time in Tuscany.

Great getaway

An amazing escape in the Tuscan countryside. The pool and views from it were jaw-dropping. Close enough to venture out to some sights but far enough away to feel like you are in the country. We had some amazing meals in the nearby small towns. Still dreaming about our visit.

Nice but a little disappointed....

Very nice villa in a great, peaceful and scenic location between Sienna and Arezzo. Disappointed because the pool was closed after recent rains though we booked it for the pool and were not notified it would be closed. Pools at other places we stayed in the region were open. Also, prior guests had smoked inside and ashtrays were full tho we let the host know we are allergic to smoke and were told there was no smoking allowed inside. Local wine tasting and restaurants were great, and the villa itself was very pretty.

Erholsamer Urlaub in wunderschöner Gegend

Die Villa ist ein zauberhafter Ort fĂŒr alle, die Ruhe und Natur genießen wollen. Die Anfahrt ist nur mit dem Auto möglich. Der letzte Streckenabschnitt fĂŒhrt durch eine mĂ€rchenhafte Zypressenallee. Das GrundstĂŒck liegt auf einer Anhöhe mit einem herrlichen Blick auf die umliegenden Weinberge. Die Villa ist in zwei autarke Wohnparteien mit jeweils eigenen Garten aufgeteilt. Der Garten ist groß und hĂŒbsch bewachsen. Das Haus ist individuell und gemĂŒtlich mit kunstvollem Ambiente. eingerichtet. Die Vermieter, die Familie Gigli, sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt und uns mit unseren unmittelbaren Villa-Nachbarn gut verstanden. Insgesamt gibt es hier vier EigentĂŒmerparteien, die den Pool geinschaftlich nutzen. Das hat fĂŒr uns gut funktioniert. Die EigentĂŒmer/ Bewohner der benachbarten HĂ€user legen Wert auf ihre Ruhe und die Einhaltung der Pool-Regeln. Dazu gehört auch die Beachtung der Pool-Zeiten fĂŒr die GĂ€ste (10-13 und 15 bis 18 Uhr). Wir konnten uns damit gut arrangieren, weil wir sowieso viel unterwegs waren.

Schönes Haus, doch wichtige Informationen fehlten in Anzeige

Der Aufenthalt war 50/50. Das Haus ist sehr schön. Ruhige, abgelegene Lage, doch es ist Teil eines grĂ¶ĂŸeren Hauses mit zwei sehr anstrengenden Anwohnern. Das fĂŒr uns grĂ¶ĂŸte Problem war, dass wir erst bei Ankunft im Haus erfuhren, dass der Gemeinschaftspool nur von 10-13 und 15-18 Uhr zu nutzen ist - und Kinder bis 18 Jahren durch einen Erwachsenen zu beaufsichtigen sind. Dies hat unsere vollstĂ€ndige Urlaubsplanung zunichte gemacht. Leider gab es mit der Vermieterin keine Lösung zu einer RĂŒckzahlung oder kĂŒrzerem Aufenthalt. Auch FeWo hat sich um nichts gekĂŒmmert. Wir haben somit den Urlaub nach sechs (von 14) Tagen abgebrochen. Wer also denkt er könne den Pool nach Bedarf nutzen, der sollte die Finger von dem Objekt lassen.

Beautiful Villa

We were both very pleased with this charming villa, set in beautiful countryside about 15 minutes drive from the nearest small town. We loved the rustic feel of the villa with amazing views of the surrounding vineyards. The hosts, while we didnt meet up due to our busy schedules, were fabulous, and great at communicating to ensure we had a wonderful stay. We used the villa here as a base to make day trips to surrounding towns like Assisi, Perugia, San Gimignano and Montepulciano, all towns worth visiting.

Tuscan vacation villa

This property is amazing, especially during the warmer months. It is as lovely as described. It’s expensive to heat during cooler months. Communication with the property manager was challenging as her English is limited, as is our Italian. The location is central in terms of visiting a variety of hill towns, but remote in terms of finding dinner, especially during the off season.

Tuscany Beauty

Our stay at Villa Donato was truly a wonder experience. Within and hour or less you can visit many of the enchanting hill towns of Tuscany, such as Castellina, Rodda & Cortona to name a few. If you want to visit the Brunello wine region it is also in that same range of travel. The gardens are amazing and perfect for outdoor dinners & breakfasts. The kitchen is well equipped & very nice for preparing home cooked meals. Our stay was delightful!

Absolutely amazing!

We had a wonderful stay. The views and gardens are amazing and the pictures you see online do not do it justice. The views are breathtaking. The home is comfortable and has everything you need. We had 5 people so our teenager had to sleep on the sofa bed in the living room but it wasn’t too bad, It is a convenient location for exploring the Chianti region but is also an amazing property to stay and relax. Bianca was a very responsive host and we enjoyed meeting her mother who greeted us at the property. Overall, our favorite place during our 15 day tour of Italy!

Rustic Charm in Tuscany

What a gem in the hills of Tuscany. The gardens are exquisite surrounding the villa with a picturesque view from every window. We also enjoyed the visiting cat who was so friendly and sweet. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and slept restfully. Would love to return soon.

Great views!

Lovely spot with gorgeous views. It proved to be a good location to explore Tuscany. When we arrived it was a chilly day and we were invited to fire up the boiler although warned heat was expensive and we would be charged additional for any fuel used so we toughed it out not wanting to deal with it.

Your Dream Villa Realized

Look no further if you’ve been dreaming of a restful vacation tucked away somewhere in the Tuscan hills. Villa la Cipressaia will more than fulfill your fantasies. You’ll find yourself surrounded by wineries, olive trees, drop-dead sunrises and sunsets as well as wild culinary herbs that seem to grow as high as trees. The villa itself is furnished for comfort with an eye to aesthetics. Almost everywhere there are antiques, some of considerable value. The rustic kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, plenty of dinnerware, a gorgeous professional Italian stove with gas burners, and a giant electric oven. Believe it or not, there’s even a professional hand-cranked meat slicer just in case you decide to pick up a ten-pound mortadella that needs to be sliced. Situated in the heart of Chianti country, this villa is a place to unwind, eat, and drink to your heart’s content. Gina, the owner, lives nearby and is more than willing to respond to any request or question you may have. She’s a great lady who obviously knows what to offer a tourist looking to realize his or her dream of escaping to the heart of the Tuscan hills.
