This spacious, terraced cottage has been renovated throughout, and has a well maintained private garden to the rear in which to relax after a days exploring. The cottage is situated in the historic town of Gatehouse of Fleet, with its restaurants, pubs and shops. The River Fleet flows through the town and offers some lovely walks direct from the door.



The Galloway Forest Park is close by with an abundance of wildlife, including a red deer range, wild goat park and red kite feeding station. The park has been awarded the status as the first Dark Sky Park in the UK. Dumfries and Galloway offers many picturesque towns and villages to explore, including Castle Douglas, a food town with galleries, independent shops, cafés and pubs. Kirkcudbright, the artists town, offers many festivals throughout the year, including Scottish nights, classic car rallies, historic walks, a medieval fayre, a jazz festival and a spectacular Tattoo, as well as a good selection of pubs and restaurants. Beach 5¼ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 50 yards.

Good location

Excellent property-very well furnished and comfortable.Parking not a problem as park on street or at side of house. Locals very friendly and four coffee shops.
