Well equipped apartment in a great location
We had a good stay in this apartment in Cauterets. The apartment was very functional and located in a brilliant spot in the centre of the town. It was quite spartan in decoration (particularly in the bedrooms) although exactly as described by the host who had been very clear and fair with us on what to expect. In particular she had warned us that the bedrooms were underground which would not be to everyone's taste. The apartment would have been excellent value for 4 people (or even 6 as allowed although that would be a squash!!). For two people it wasn't quite as good of course. My mistake but I had booked it because I had bikes on a bike rack that I wanted to leave on overnnight and I thought the apartment had its own parking which contrasted with the local hotels. Actually it shared free parking on the street with the guests of the hotels so in fact that wasnt an advantage. So if I had my time again I would actually have booked a hotel for the 2 of us. But that's not to take anything from the apartment which was very functional and well equipped. Delphine who managed the property was very welcoming and provided us with good information on the wonderful local area and town.
