Green Gables Bungalow Court offers a decent stay, and we'd rate it 3 stars. There were some definite positives that contributed to our family's enjoyment. The pool and play structure were certainly nice amenities, providing great entertainment for the kids. They had a blast splashing around and burning off energy. However, our experience wasn't without its issues. Upon arriving in our bungalow, we found a dresser handle broken, which was a bit of an immediate letdown. It made using that particular dresser inconvenient and suggested a lack of attention to detail in maintenance. Additionally, while the kids enjoyed the pool, it was clear it was in rough shape, showing signs of wear and tear that detracted from its overall appeal. While the location is fantastic for exploring the Cavendish area and the bungalow concept is charming, these maintenance issues did slightly dampen our stay. With a bit more upkeep on the bungalows and the pool, this could easily be a 4-star experience. It's a fine option for families, but go in with tempered expectations regarding the condition of some of the facilities.

Do not stay here . It’s like a scene of a horror movie. Cottage is so old- paint chipping , bugs , dirty dishes and filthy bbq . They don’t provide any soaps - shampoos,…. No basic necessities . The property looks abandoned - pool is dirty - grounds are unkept and most of all inside seating area was so dirty I couldn’t sit and relax - look at the picture it says it all .

It was old and needed upgrades. The cabin (especially in bathroom) smelled like moisture. The couch was brown of filth. The AC did not cool off the entire cabin. Lawn was not cut and felt like a hay field. The pool was dirty and not warm. The pool area had garbage laying around and at one point a pair of dirty underwear. There were issues with the water temperature which would go from luke warm to boiling hot in the shower. The kitchen sink was clogged and would fill up/back up when being used… I could go on… felt disgusting the entire time…

We were called half way to pei which is a 5 hour drive letting us know that the cabin we booked back in march was undergoing renos and that we could either cancel or they could put us in 2 differant cabins for the 2 nights. Which they did give us an upgrade on the cabins for the same price. But switching cabins after 1 night with having to take our luggage and throw out food in between was a bit of an inconvenience. They did let us check in early the next day.

We booked for 3 nights but ended up leaving after 2. The cottage was clean, and the beds were comfortable with clean mattresses, which we appreciated. Having two rooms was also a nice feature. However, the property overall didn’t meet our expectations for the price. The pool had a green bottom and a torn liner, and there was an old, broken-down lawnmower behind our cottage, which made the area feel neglected. The shower head was leaking and spraying water everywhere, though the staff fixed it quickly once we reported it. In the future, we’d likely stay just outside Cavendish for a better-maintained spot at a more reasonable price.

We needed a place to stay for a one night overnight in Cavendish. Our entire family was comfortable, room for the kids to play outside, and their off-season rates were extremely reasonable.

The property is close to tourist attractions and was quiet. The housekeeping staff were wonderful but the cottage itself was run down. It had a broken window and the porch was in disrepair. Also the floors were very slopes. Overall, even though it was a pleasant enough stay the place itself could use some very much needed maintenance

Don't stay here

A very small cabin type property. The bedroom was so small you couldn't walk around the bed and we both had to get in from the same side. The shower was so small even a child would have difficulty having a shower. Worst of all on the 3rd night the bedroom ceiling was leaking do had to sleep in the lounge. To be fair we were moved to the cabin next door and was offered a small amount of compensation

The location was great, it was right next door to the Anne of Green Gables Heritage Site. The cottage wasn't in very good shape. It smelled very musty when we walked in, some of the windows didn't shut completely, and the furniture was extremely old and outdated. It was a good price, but overall I was disappointed.
