The house is beautifully furnished and decorated with a shady terrace and an attractive poolside area in a quiet location just 10-15 minutes walk from Cazals. We enjoyed a lovely week exploring the area and relaxing at the house. The night market in Cazals was a highlight with great local food and music plus fireworks in honour of Bastille Day! would happily go back again.
We had a wonderful stay at the gĂźte! Jo and Pete were fantastic hostsâwarm, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. The location was perfect: peaceful and beautiful, surrounded by nature, yet just a short and easy walk into Cazals. The village itself is charming, with a great selection of restaurants and shops, and the Sunday market is absolutely fantasticâone of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommended
We had the most wonderful family holiday here with our two kids 9 and 11. The Gite was perfect fully equipped with everything you could think of and Jo and Pete were amazing hosts.
Perfect location just a short walk from Cazals and loads of activities and places of interest witching driving distance. We are already planning next years visit and cannot wait to go back.
Just fabulous!!
This house is perfect for a relaxing family break. Jo and Pete have thought of everything you could possibly need and the house is so well equipped. The pool area and gardens are very special, peaceful and secluded. We even saw a deer in the garden one day.
Within walking distance of Cazals for dinner and boulangerie. Easy to drive between the Dordogne and Lot for days out.
We absolutely loved our stay in Cazals, and the property was just wonderful. We're a family of four and were travelling with two teenagers, so we wanted somewhere that had three bedrooms, and was within walking distance of a village/shops. The villa was absolutely perfect for us and Jo and Pete were excellent hosts.
The villa sits in amazing grounds, which are incredibly peaceful. It's lovely just sitting out by the pool and enjoying the peace and the gentle sounds of nature. The villa itself is a great space, it's really well equipped (so many thoughtful touches!) and it genuinely felt like a home away from home.
It's about 1km to walk into Cazals, with the boulangerie, bar, restaurant and shop, and definitely don't miss the market if you go. Cazals is also really well situated to get to Gourdon, Domme, Vitrac, Castelnaud, Cenac, etc.
We loved our stay and it was a real wrench to leave. Would definitely recommend the property and Jo and Pete were superb to deal with. It was lovely to meet them there as well (thank you for all your help!). Just a fabulous time in the Dordogne and would head back there tomorrow if we could.
We had a fabulous holiday at the property. Situated in a beautiful quiet location but close enough to the village to walk in and enjoy a coffee, the market, the boulangerie or restaurants, all of which we sampled! The house is pristine, beautifully designed and has everything you could possibly need. The outside area is fabulous with superb views. The woods offer shade, a volleyball/ badminton court, hammocks and a play house. Great shaded area for the hottest part of the day. And the salt water pool is perfect size and depth for kids. We would not hesitate to recommend this property. The owners, Jo and Pete, live next door and you wouldnât know unless you need them. And they were really lovely and helpful! Gorgeous place x
