Beautiful Lake Getaway!

Finding an affordable house on the water to accommodate our large group is always difficult, but this lake house fit the bill! A remote lake house that is close enough to attractions to make the adventure as fun as it is relaxing. From the youngest (4) to the oldest (76), all 12 of us loved our stay!

The View is aptly named since it has one of the most impressive views of Lake Weiss. We spent many years on this lake in the past and this beautiful property gave us a chance to re-live great memories and make new ones for our growing family. Thanks for a great experience!

Beautiful home and outstanding view

We enjoyed our stay. My husband mentioned at least five times that the view was one of the most amazing he has seen from any home we have rented for vacations. It was stunning, and we enjoyed the view when we were inside the house as much as when we sat on the deck. We had plenty of space for our family of four adults and it was quiet and peaceful. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. We will definitely be staying again.

Beautiful home. Awesome views

We had six adults for our stay. Six more for a day visit of boating. Ample room for visiting and eating. The view of the lake was amazing. They guys fished and us gals stayed on the dock most of the time. I would say that we would stay here again, but it was a little difficult getting our pontoon parked there. Other than that, it was a very nice vacay.

Lake trip

We are from Gulf Shores. We were looking for a getaway with our kids and grandkids. This was perfect. We brought kayaks and rented a boat one day. We spent most of the day swimming in the lake. Also played pool and table tennis at night. I don’t think we left the house for 5 days.

Guys on the lake!

The View is one of the best properties that I have rented. The home is spacious and well appointed. The wrap around deck is wonderful and the views of the lake are spectacular. Sunrise with coffee is a grand experience. Tonya is the best host that I have encountered. She was always available and very patient explaining the nuances of the property. Great place for a getaway with family and friends. 5 Stars!!

Beautiful location!

This house was in a really beautiful and remote area of northeast AL. While it was pretty far from most things to do, the house was right on Weiss Lake and awesome to just float around in. Tonya was quick to answer any questions and take care of anything that needed to be taken care of! Thanks Tonya! The beds were all comfy, AC and grill worked great and we loved hanging on the dock! The internet is really slow but if you are looking for that remote area to be in then it doesn’t really matter! All in all a good time and we are well rested!

Just what we needed

The house was very nice. Plenty of room for everyone. The View was gorgeous. Kitchen was stocked well as we cooked most of our meals there. The dock was really nice although all we did was fish from it. The only downside would have to be the internet connection. Couldn't watch TV is more than 2 devices were on the hotspot. However, I tried to get them to "unplug" and enjoy the beautiful lake. I would recommend this rental and can't wait to return.
