Hideaway Cabin in Cedar Mountain | 2 Bed, 2 Bath

New cabin in Cedar Mountain, very quiet and private.  Enjoy the natural surroundings, the wildlife and the hot tub.  Expansive decking and covered front porch allow guests to unwind totally.  This new cabin features one bedroom upstairs and one downstairs, each with their own bathroom.  Linens provided, professionally managed. Hot tub on deck.  Soaring ceilings and lots of windows give this cabin the right look and feel that you want in a vacation rental cabin in Cedar Mountain.  The furniture is high quality as are the kitchen appliances and counters.  The climate controls give you the ability to set the temperature separately for the main level and the upstairs if needed.  Very efficient central heating and cooling system will keep you comfortable.  Washer and dryer with starter soaps for your convienience.
Paved road and concrete drive to this property, easy to access.  Some guests may experience spotty cell service until you connect to the WiFi signal.

Great Getaway!

We were in much need of a getaway! Booked this great escape with hot tub
we always LOVE hot tubs! House was secluded, easy to get to and of course the hot tub was
pristine! We did notice a window open on the second level that kept the house around 63 degrees (couldn’t reach)
felt bad having fireplace and heat blaring but no luck in raising temp. Called maintenance and within ten mins they were out to close window
 temp rose drastically to 70 within 30 mins. Great cabin. Will book again!!

Cabin in the woods

We stayed through Christmas and the cabin was beautifully decorated when we arrived! What a nice surprise. Everything we could possibly needed was provided at the property. Very close to hiking at DuPont park with beautiful waterfalls! Pretty place is right down the road. Would definitely return. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your hideaway.

Loved this place!

Perfect balance of cozy cabin atmosphere and clean and open modern living space. Immediately felt welcome walking in to see the charming holiday decor, abundant amenities, and the hot tub already filled and toasty for us. Peaceful area, just remote enough. Comforable bed and furniture and easy to use appliances. A little confused by the instruction to drop the thermostat to 55 before checking out (couldn't get it to go lower than 60), but hoping that's just a general rule for all of their properties and that it was acceptable to leave it at 60. Overall great experience, would definitely go back in the future!

Cedar Mountain Cabin

We had a great stay- not sure what we liked the best. It was the large deck, the cleanliness of the cabin, the large island, the amount of natural light inside, the large bathroom in the master suite, the comfortable king size bed or maybe seeing wildlife everyday!! One highlight was definitely the bear that visited. You will not be disappointed!!

Very nice cabin in the mountains

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights while visiting family in the area and were very satisfied with the property. The cabin was comfortable and had everything that we needed. Our only issue was the colony of yellow jackets that came out from under the deck near the hot tub and stung our 9 year old granddaughter in the face. I reported this to the management company and they sent someone out the next morning to investigate.

Amazing Trip

Excellent Stay

I highly recommend this place. It was an excellent stay. We had thanksgiving dinner there with the family and there was more than enough kitchen and serving equipment to make a full thanksgiving meal. The cabin is wonderful and in a great location. Would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway.

Cute and cozy

Perfect location between Pretty Place and Brevard. We enjoyed visiting all the nearby waterfalls during the day, then hanging out on the back porch in hot tub at night. Would highly recommend!!

Perfect in every way

Over the years, we have rented several cabins in NC. This one was the best, by far. Everything was super clean, the setting is especially tranquil, and the kitchen is well stocked with all you need. We will definitely come back!

Great Cabin!!!

This cabin was absolutely perfect for me and my boys! There is a bear that wonders the property, so we did not use the fire pit or the jacuzzi out of fear that Yogi would join. The cabin was 25 minutes from town, but it wasn’t too bad of a drive. This cabin had everything you would need! It really felt like home for 5 days. It was beautifully decorated and comfortable.

Beautiful & Amazing Cabin!

I’m a NC native and have stayed in countless mountain cabins over the years, and this one is in the top 5! We found it to be picture-perfect, well-appointed, and very quaint. It’s very new and has privacy plus we loved hearing the creek nearby. It was very clean, no sign of dirt anywhere! Highly recommend!

Super Natural

Loved being away in this beautiful well maintained cabin in the woods. The first evening two deer welcomed us while we enjoyed a glass of wine in the rocking chairs on the front porch. No sounds except the wind through the trees and the faint sound of the creek running in the small valley behind the cabin. Well equipped kitchen with all you need. With great Wifi and a smart TV if you wanted to connect with the outside you could. For myself not having good cell service was a blessing. Very close to Pretty Place and short drive to some of the best mountain biking trails in Dupont. Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return. Hosts were communicative and welcoming from reservation to check out.

We really enjoyed staying at this cabin. Everything was perfect for our stay. The location was very close to bikes, waterfalls and pretty place. We really enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub on the chilly nights.

Great Family Getaway to the Mountains

The property is beautiful, in a great location close to DuPont forest, Pretty Place chapel, Brevard, and the home was clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need. We try to stay in Cedar Mountain every fall season, and this year didn’t disappoint. I highly recommend this property for your future stay. The only hiccup we experienced was not being able to get into the home upon arrival via the electronic door code provided. We followed all directions as outlined, however the code would not work after many attempts. We contacted the property management company and left a voicemail. The on-call manager texted me a little while later to say he would call us back as soon as he finished an afternoon meeting. We never heard back from him until 16 hours later (10am the next morning). Thankfully we were fortunate to find a hidden key that got us into the cabin about an hour or so after arriving. After this the code was changed twice but still did not work the remainder of the weekend. I think if prompt attention is given to this issue and a remedy is made, other families won’t have to deal with this inconvenience. I do want the property owners to know we loved staying in their home and would love to return at a future date. Thank you.

Clean and remote!

We loved this house! It was the cleanest VRBO we’ve experienced in recent years. Our 2 young kids loved the hot tub and the fire pit. We also were adventurous and went down to the small creek. It required a lot of skill (no trail) but my kids loved it. Very quiet property, great access to DuPont.
