Greeted by a cheerful member of staff after a long hot drive. The pool was lovely. Short walk to shops and jetty. Petrol station is close by. The gate is locked overnight and guests are given a PIN code to enter

East-West Motel is situated on an extremely easy to find and main connection road as you come into Ceduna from Adelaide and it is easy to get into. For such a dry town (it’s situated close to the Nullabor), the grounds were remarkably green and the driveway, entry and grounds were clean and tidy. The inground pool looked extremely inviting and I could see guests enjoying it on such a warm day. It too, was clean and sparkling. My room was clean and welcoming. The air con had been turned on in the room prior to my arrival and it was lovely to step into such a cool, inviting atmosphere. The shower was excellent, with plenty of hot water and good pressure. My bed was extremely comfortable and road noise was not an issue so a restful night was definitely had! Continental Breakfast - FREE - in the dining room was an extra bonus! Checking in, I was greeted with a genuine warmth and professionalism. Other staff members I encountered over my 2 night stay always had a smile and a warm greeting, which is always appreciated. Although the Motel is reasonably old, it appears to be well maintained. Y It also has a security gate from 7pm - 6.30pm which gave me extra peace of mind. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this Motel to the weary traveller.

We arrived at 11pm and was given incorrect pin code for the key drop box. Tried calling to have this sorted but the phone was not working for the property. After 30 min of knocking on the managers window finally got the correct code for the drop box. Could not believe what we walked into next, the room we were booked for had not been cleaned, bed was left the way the last person left it, pizza box on the floor with half a pizza in it. Bins full of rubbish. After knocking on the mangers window again we were moved to another room, the night manager did not apologise once, did not seem to care at all. Lady in reception the next morning was very nice and apologised, overall would never stay here again.

We only stayed one night, the bathroom could be more clean, but not that bad. There is microwave and kettle in the room, good air conditioner and pool. Definitely coming back

The place is very safe, it can only be access via passcode after hours. The room is not very big, but still very comfy. This is one of the few places offers free breakfast. Overall, I enjoy my stay here. If I do visit Ceduna again, this place will be high up on my list of places to stay
