Quinta da Chouza AGROTURISMO / AL, inserted in a rural area, provides for its operation an adequate set of facilities, 2 in the main house, each room can accommodate 2 children up to 12 years old, with no cost per room, with breakfast included .
The Quinta has structures, equipment, complementary services and arrangement of the respective surrounding areas, in view of the offer of a complete and diversified tourism product.
The complex is located on a farm, close to the Basto Fermil village in the municipality of Celorico de Basto, Braga District, with 5,4Ha area already occupied and in full swing, vines, kiwi, fruit and vegetable, small fruits and poultry.
Quinta da Chouza has a unique environment. It is crossed by a stream where two water mills (bread crushing) with four beautiful waterfalls, which invites to the peace and harmony between wines and nature, are found. The farm produces GREEN WHITE DOC WINES, unique in the world, with the brand CHÃO DO RIO.
The recovery of the two MILLS, built at the waterfront consists of a small river beach (4 waterfalls and 2 small ponds).
The main objective of Quinta da Chouza, is to promote a family nature hosting service to allow a hospitable and personal welcome, as well as provide monitoring, knowledge and even the participation of tourists in agricultural activities Farm / Exploration (Fifth pedagogic).
The Quinta da Chouza AGROTURISMO and ENOTURISMO, makes available to the guests / tourists a exclusively produced in the property, a Vinho Verde Branco DOC (Denomination of Controlled Origin) and selected harvest, with the brand CHÃO DO RIO.
The wines, CHÃO DO RIO, are bathed by the good local edaphoclimatic conditions, in an idyllic terroir for the production of different white and sparkling wines. The wines here show a remarkable acidity, surrounded by striking floral notes with a persistence of citrine fruit, which together confer a harmonic elegance to the wine. In its elaboration, the fifth holds a winery that brings together the latest winemaking technology seeking to preserve the ancestral methods of making green and sparkling wines that so much fame have garnered throughout the world.
Quinta da Chouza intends to place on the market a diverse portfolio of White Greens DOC and Sparkling White, in the hope that the tasting proves, in the future, it is a wine full of personality, identified with the brand CHÃO DO RIO.
