Winji Jimmi is a relaxing EV & pet friendly waterfront hideaway only 1.5 hours from Sydney perfect for couples, families and small groups.

It's a little different to most holiday houses... it’s well stocked with quality inclusions such as high thread count sheets and fluffy towels. There are basics in the pantry and a well appointed kitchen including coffee machine.

It’s an easy drive from Sydney and a million miles from care. You'll be captivated by expansive lake views, the early morning mist and divine sunsets with fish jumping. If this sounds like what you need, read on!

Everything is accessible and convenient at Winji Jimmi... there's a bottleshop literally over the road... and a shopping centre minutes away. So you can get everything you need up here from great coffee, to a lovely meal out if you don't fancy cooking.

If however you want to nestle in for a cosy weekend (like we often do), you'll find the kitchen has all the tools you need to cook up a storm. (Think nice pots, pans, rice cooker, wok, slow cooker, pasta maker, coffee machine, serving platters/bowls plus basic pantry supplies...)

Going Green! Solar energy from the roof now powers the house during daylight hours instead of using energy from the grid. We encourage you to use more power more during the day and less during the night, for a much lower environmental impact.

Winji Jimmi is perfect for entertaining with a lovely large dining room. It’s a great space to connect with family and friends. There's even a a big games cupboard to keep the kids amused. To make things a little easier, it’s fine to bring the dog. (The pool area is fenced and includes a grassed area, plus they are allowed inside)

Like a walk? Wander on down to the jetty or take a stroll along the waterfront. To the east you can access a bike path through the bush with bridge access to the next suburb around the lake.

There's a BBQ and lovely timber table plus a hammock to hook up to the trees out the front.

Winji Jimmi Sleeps 6 people in 3 Bedrooms:

Bed 1: King En-suite, includes double shower
Bed 2: Queen Bed
Bed 3: 2 x KS beds

We provide quality linen and towels.
Please bring your own beach towels.

The master bedroom is King Size with an ensuite that includes a luxurious double shower. It has lovely views out over a garden and to the bay.

The second bedroom is queen sized and shares the master spa bathroom with the third bedroom with had 2x King Single beds.

The bedrooms, bathrooms and fireplace lounge room are on the entrance level and there are a few steps down to the kitchen and dining level where you also access the pool.

Children always enjoy Winji Jimmi as there is so much to do. The pool is the favourite, followed by fishing, sailing, toys, games, the hammock, Foxtel. We accept pets too, so don't forget the dog!

If a quiet romantic getaway without the kids is what you seek, then enjoy the waterside sunsets, your own private pool (not heated) and a cosy fire in cooler weather.

An Active Break...
If your idea of a relaxing break is surfing, sailing or hiking - then make Winji Jimmi your perfect base to retreat to at night and recount your days adventures over a BBQ and glass of wine...

Directly out front is a deep water public jetty and the Lake Macquarie Water Recreation area which is ideal for water skiing. Sailing is also ideal as the lake is 4 times larger than Sydney Harbour.

A short 10 min drive away is the Lake Munmorah State Recreation Park with some of the coast's best walking trails, beaches and photo opportunites. Bring your fishing rod for rock fishing too.

15 min away is the famous Catherine Hill Bay surf beach that is equally famous for it's pub.

30 min away are the Watagan Mountains for hiking and 4WD adventures.

60 min you can have a gentler adventure visiting the Hunter Valley wineries and restocking your cellar for the week.

All in all, there is plenty to do and Winji Jimmi makes a relaxing oasis to retreat to, to finish of your day in refined comfort.
